✉ BERMUDAS. 1879 (Oct 16). Registered cover to LONDON franked by 1865-74 6d. dull mauve and horizontal pair of 1sh. green tied by HAMILTON-BERMUDA/1 duplexes and by London oval arrival (Oct 31) in red. Rare straight line REGISTERED in black at left. A very rare first issue franking. SG 7,8.

✉ BERMUDAS. 1898 (1 June). OHMS envelope (a little trauncated at left) registered to MEXICO, bearing 1/2 d. dull green and 3 d. grey in combination with 1874 6 d. dull mauve, all clearly tied by HAMILTON/BERMUDA double ring, d.s., showing New York Exchange and Mexico registration labels with, on reverse, PUEBLA arrival datestamp. A most unusual destination.

✉ CANADA. 1864 (Nov 26). Cover to Chelsea, Mass, USA franked for 10c rate with pair of 19860 5c deep green tied by black grid cancel and red circular ´Paid-10´. Whites Cove despatch handstamp with manuscript date at left. Reverse with Gagetown and St. John cds´s (Nov 29). A scarce cover. SG 15.

✉ CANADA. 1888 (Aug). Mourning cover from New South Wales to Ontario, Canada franked by 6d violet tied in black. On arrival the cover was readdressed and mailed on to Battlecreek, USA franked by pair of Small Queens 3c orange red, overlapping the original adhesive. Ontario cds on front and reverse with five transit cds´s. An unusual combination.

✉ CANADA. 1894 (Dec 11). Cover from TORONTO to MADRAS, India franked by Small Queens 1 c. yellow pair and single 3 c. rose red tied by TORONTO despatch cds´s, endorsed ´Via Brindisi´ with ´Sea Post Office-A´ cds and COCONADA arrival cds (Jan 23) on reverse. Scarce destination. Scott 35,37.

✉ CEILAN. 1883. Postal stationary card 8 cents brown cancelled by COLOMBO PAID duplex addressed to Holland with octagonal French paquebot POSS. ANGL. PAQ. FR. N. Nº 10 datestamp in blue (Salles 1933) routed via Brindisi with French entry cachet and LEIDEN arrival on front. Very fine item of paquebot mail with this unrecorded maritime cachet in blue.

Entire letter from Campo Mento carried on the ´Ripon´ under Captain Moresby, to Basingstoke with Gibraltar despatch cds in black and good strike of two line ´GIBRALTAR/ SHIP LETTER´ in black. Charged ´8d.´ due on receipt with Basingstoke arrival (May 29) in blue. Interesting content regarding Provisions ´to be sent addressed to the Admiralty Office, Southampton and they must not be addressed to Mr. Creswell (Gibraltar´s Postmaster) at all´.

Entire letter to Genoa with superb strike of three line dated ´GIBRALTAR/SHIP LETTER´ in blue (Day before Month in date, Type I) on despatch with manuscript ´8´ (pence) prepaid in red for double rate. Red ´Via/Di Mare/(E)´ applied on arrival and manuscript charge of ´30´ centesemi to pay.

Red manuscript ´8´ denoting single rate of 8d. prepaid, reverse with framed ´Liverpool/Ship´ (June 17) and arrival cds. Displays well.
