✉ URUGUAY. 1870. MONTEVIDEO a BARCELONA. Circulada con sello francés de 80 cts. rosa de la emisión de Burdeos. Margen corto en una esquina. Mat. ANCLA y fechador octogonal MONTEVIDEO/*. Tasada a la llegada con 1 peseta. MUY RAROS los sellos de la emisión de Burdeos usados en ultramar.

✉ URUGUAY. 1879 (19.2). MONTEVIDEO a TORINO. Circulada con sello de 20 cts. castaño claro, tasada primero con 80 cts. rectificado a ´14´ décimas pagadas con sellos italianos de 40 cts. y 1 lira. Magnífica.

✉ URUGUAY. 1892. MONTEVIDEO to HAMBURGO with German blue 20 p. stamp tied by cds DEUTSCHE SEEPOST/LINIE/HAMBURG/SUDAMERIKA.

✉ URUGUAY. 1799-1843. 7 covers, one from Montevideo to London via Rio de Janeiro, one to Cuba with blanck YNDIAS entry mark, one early mail 1799 to Buenos Aires...

Entire letter datelined CIUDAD BOLIVAR, mailed to BORDEAUX and struck in transit with SAINT PIERRE MARTINIQUE datestamp in black, via London (March 6) and struck with COLONIES / & ART.13 in red. Charged 25 decimes in manuscript on delivery. Fine and most unusual routing.

✉ VENEZUELA. 1862. 2 covers with yellow 1/2 real stamps from La Guaira to Caracas.

✉ VENEZUELA. Ed. Sc.13b. (1863 CA.). LA GUAYRA a CARACAS. 1 real azul bisectado para ser usado como 1/2 real. MAGNIFICA Y RARA.

✉ VENEZUELA. 1864. Incoming stampless entire letter from LIVERPOOL (26 Dec) with sender´s cachet endorsed ´per Kilo´ addressed ´Messrs. Krutzer & Rivodo / Caracas / La Guaira´ with HERNANDEZ & RIVODO/LA GUAIRA forwarding agent cachet and addes 1863 1/2r Eagle tied by LA GUAIRA cds (18 Mar) to pay ongoing postage to Caracas. RARE usage of an Eagle stamp.

✉ VENEZUELA. 1870 (April 3). Entire letter from LA GUAIRA (Venezuela) to BORDEAUX with fair strike of the very rare LA GUAYRA / PAQ. FR. L No 1 octagonal datestamp struck in black (Salles 1619a). Reverse (cover opens well for display) with equally scarce circular LIGNE G / PAQ. FR. No. 1 in black (Salles 1611c). Transhipped to the PANAMA at Fort de France for journey to St. Nazaire with LIGNE A / PAQ. FR. No 2 datestamp alongside. A rare cover. Ex. collection T.V.Roberts.

Octagonal LA GUAYRA Consular datestamp at lower left in black, reverse with LIGNE A cds, Bordeaux and Madrid (Nov 27) transits. Scarce and attractive cover. Ceres 38, 56.
