Reverse with Durban cds. (Nov. 15), Tabriz cds. (23/12) and Meched arrival cds. Re-addressed to LONDON with Teheran and Ispahan cds. (30/1), Russian BAKU cds. (29/1, j) and eventual London arrivals (Feb. 19, 1902). A fine and most unusual cover.

✉ TRINIDAD. 1806 (Aug 8). FRENCH OCCUPATION. Entire letter from TRINIDAD during the Napoleonic Wars to BRIGNOLLES, France datelined inside ´Isle de Trinité, 8 Aout 1806´ and struck on arrival with COLONIES PAR/BORDEAUX in black and charged 12 decimes due. A rare and interesting entire. Trinidad was awarded to Britain after the Treaty of Amiens at the end of the War.

✉ TRINIDAD. 1873 (Aug 26). Cover endorsed ´Via Panama´ addressed to ´Admiral Cochrane, Commander in Chief, Pacific Station´ ( located in Valparaiso) franked by (1d.) carmine and 4d. grey cancelled by Trinidad cds in black. Cover then docketed (at Panama ?) and noted as for ´Ship Repulse´. Reverse with St. Thomas transit cds (Sept 2) and manuscript ´4´ (pence) of split rate. A very rare and appealing cover. Ex collection Sir John Marriott.

✉ ZANZIBAR. 1893. Use of British India 1/4a postal card, uprated with 1a violet Victoria issue, from ZANZIBAR to GERMANY. Stamps cancelled by squared circle ZANZIBAR datestamps and front shows ADEN transit and KIEL arrival datestamp. A very fine and scarce use of this card.

✉ ZANZIBAR. 1917. MARGAO (Portuguese India) to ZANZIBAR. Unpaid cover, letter endorsed ´P.P´ (Postage Paid) but no stamps. Taxed on arrival ´5 annas´.

✉ ZANZIBAR. Sg. D21. 1933. Underpaid cover from INDIA franked on reverse with 2a. purple tied by BOMBAY FOREIGN cds (Jan 13), front with large ´T.10 Cents´ handstamp in black and taxed on arrival with 1930/33 Postage Due 6c. black on yellow tied by REG. / ZANZIBAR cds (Feb 7) in black. Scarce.

✉ GRECIA. 1862 (Abr. 30). Part of Newspaper with 1 l. chocolate superior sheet margin (stamp removed and replaced). Cancellation ´18´ of TRIPOLIS. Very rare.

✉ GRECIA. Ce. 14+16. 1862 (Aug 26). Cover to GENOA franked by 1853 20c. blue (2) and single 40c. vermilion tied by 5095 gros chiffres, with SALONIQUE-TURQUIE dotted datestamp at right. Red PIROSCAFI-POSTALI-FRANCESI alongside and reverse with Les Dardanelles-Turquie transit (27/8) and arrival cds.

✉ GRECIA. 1863. Cover from CEFALONIA to PATRAS with oval hooded CEFALONIA despatch, framed FRANCA and oval rate handstamp with ´1´ inserted struck in green; franked by Large Hermes 20l. blue on arrival tied by PATRAS cds for inland rate. Scott 20.

Carta completa franqueada con sellos italianos de 20 cts. azul y 40 cts. rosa preparada para ser embarcada en el buque italiano ´Paranormos´, en última instancia la carta fue embarcada en el buque francés ´Bizantin´. Tasada a la llegada con ´10´ décimas. Al dorso fechador de MARSEILLE y marca PURIFIEE AMPRESILLE en azul. MUY INTERESANTE.
