Reverse with Triest transit and front with SCUTARI D'ALBANIE thimble datestamp of Austrian P.O. (25/4) in blue (Coles & Walker fig. 6). Charged with Turkey 1868 Postage Due 20pa. red-brown (2) on arrival tied by all arabic SCUTARI circular handstamps in blue (Coles & Walker fig 3). A very scarce and attractive cover. Signed A. Diena.

The outstanding and famous combination 3 kr. green postal envelope plus 1874/80, fine beard, 2 kr. yellow, 5 kr. red and 10 kr. blue, all cancelled Prag, 21 May 1883 to YOKOHAMA, Japan, arriving 7 July. The letter was re-addressed via San Francisco and New York to Vienna and 2 Japanese 1883 5 sen blue were added to pay the postage and cancelled in black with the cds. Of Yokohama 2 July 1663 above, arriving in Vienna 27 August, it was again re-addressed and posted from Hernals via Karolinenthal 29 August to PRAG, were it was eventually delivered to the addresse on the same day.
