✉ GUATEMALA. 1866. Entire to LIMA (Perú) bearing 6d. JG plate 5 tied by "C35" PANAMA duplex applied in transit. CORREOS GUATEMALA despatch datestamp, with large Compagnie Generale Transatlantique Agence De Guatemala in darker shade of blue on reverse. Obverse with framed FRANCO, reverse with manuscript "2" and black handstamped "2" that has been obliterated and replaced below with handstamped "1". A fine and extremely RARE usage of Great Britain stamps.

✉ GUATEMALA. Sc. 4b. 1874 (Nov. 26th). Cover to LONDON from GUATEMALA CITY. GUATEMALA despatch in blue and franked by the only known used example of the 1871 20 c. blue ERROR OF COLOUR tied by "1" handstampa of Guatemala in black. Three line dated PANAMA-TRANSIT handstamp in black and LONDON FOREIGN BRANCH cds (Jan 13th 1874) at upper right over-struck with 1/6 (one shilling and six pence) charge marking. Part of the address restored. Unique and extraordinary cover. Signed Block and Cert. P.F. (2001). Ex. HUBBARD and LANGE.

✉ GUATEMALA. 1876 (Noviembre 29). GUATEMALA a GUEZALTENANGO y devuelta a GUATEMALA. Sobre dirigido a D. Feliciano Garcia (secretario privado del Presidente de la República). Circulada con sellos FISCAL de 1/2 real castaño con inscripciones TIMBRE DE GUATEMALA, al dorso llegada a Quezaltenango. El uso de sellos fiscales por el correo nunca fue autorizado en Guatemala, probablemente la circulación fue autorizada por el correo debido a que iba dirigida a una persona relevante. PIEZA EXCEPCIONAL y ÚNICA CONOCIDA. Sin duda, la pieza más importante conocida en este período. Ex. col. N. HUBBARD y M. SPYCHER.

✉ GUATEMALA. Sc. 18. 1881 (Aug. 20). Cover, somewhat tired and with minor corner fault at upper left, used to BRISTOL franked by provisional sucharge 5 c. on 1/2 r. yellow green, slight stain, cancelled by blue fancy handstamp (Goodman CF46) with octogonal CORREOS-GUATEMALA datestamp in violet at left. Reverse with Bristol arrival cds (Sept 26). An extremely rare issue on letter, this rate is only valid from August 1st until October 8th 1881. Cert. CALVES (1976) and FRIEDL (1976).

(*) HAITI. Sc. 1/6. 1881. ENSAYO DE COLOR. 1 cto. + 2 cts. + 3 cts. + 5 cts.+ 7 cts.+ 20 cts. en color rojo naranja. Separados por la mitad, pliegue diagonal que afecta al sello de 7 cts. RARA.

✉ HAITI. 1877. AUX CAYES to ST. THOMAS. Complete letter franked with GB, 1/2 d. red (2), 1 d. red (2), 1 1/2 d. red and 4 d. green, all tied by grill C59 cancellation, light vertical filing fold affecting one stamp of 1/2 d. A spectacular four colour franking, probably unique.

✉ HAITI. 1881. JACMEL to PARÍS. Complete letter with text franked with GB 1 1/2 d. venetia red and three 4 d. grey brown tied by grill C 59. Small cover faults but a very rare franking.

✉ HAITI. Sc. 3, 5. 1883. Sobre circulado a PARÍS. 3 cents. castaño y 7 cts. azul (sellos remarginados por motivos estéticos) mat. fechador marítimo francés LIGNE F/PAQ. FR. y al lado en rojo LIGNE B/PAQ. FR. Nº 1. Pese a estar los sellos restaurados se trata de una pieza excepcional, única conocida con el fechador de la LIGNE F matasellando los sellos. Cert. B. MOORHOUSE.

✉ HAITI. Sc. 12 (4), 22. 1887. JACMEL a NEW YORK. 7 cts. ultramar (4) y 2 cts. malva de la emisión de Salomón, mat. JACMEL/HAITI. Carta certificada, cirulada vía BARBADOS (fechador en el frente), al dorso llegada. Combinación de franqueo muy rara, pagando un doble porte al exterior más 10 cts. por los derechos de certificado.

HAITI. Sc. 10b (2), 13 (2). 1889. JACMEL a HAMBURGO (Alemania). 5 cts. verde, pl. III (2) y 20 cts. castaño (2) (uno defecto). Raro franqueo de cinco portes.

✉ HONDURAS. 1815-1865. CORREO MILITAR. Colección montada en hojas de álbum con descripciones, consta de un total de 33 cartas y 2 documentos. Una carta del periodo Colonial (1815) con indicación manuscrita "E.S.M." (en sus manos), dos cartas del periodo de la Federación de Estados Centroamericanos (1821-1839) y el resto de cartas del periodo Independiente de Honduras, nueve de ellas con marca y las otras con indicaciones manuscritas del correo urgente tales como "Cordillera Urgente", "Cordillera", "Cordillera Violenta" etc... Muy interesante conjunto y de gran rareza. Ex. Leo J. Harris.

✉ HONDURAS. 1858 (17 Enero). AQUANQUETIRIQUE a EASTON (Usa). Sobre con el contenido con un interesante texto sobre la apertura de un camino entre Naranja y Caridad, circulado privadamente, fechador de entrada en New York STEAMSHIP/10. Muy interesante carta circulada desde el interior del país. MUY RARA.

✉ HONDURAS. 1885 (Sept 20). Printed cover from the Rosario Mining Company, San Juancito used to New York and franked by single Morazan 1c. green tied by negative star cancel. Tegucigalpa and Puerto Cortes oval in blue of transit (Oct 6) on front and reverse with New Orleans transit (Oct 13). A scarce usage.

✉ HUNGRIA. 1871 (Dec 23). Cover from PESTH to PARIS bearing, on reverse, five Lithographed 1871 5kr. rose red, all tied in transit by VIENNA cds's (Dec 24) and by French arrival cds. An extraordinary and rare cover, opened for better Exhibit display.

✉ ISLANDIA. Sc. 80-85. 1908 (Dec 22). Registered cover to COPENHAGEN franked by rare usage of 1907-08 25a., 40a., 50a., 1kr., 2kr. and rare 5kr. all tied by REYKJAVIK cds's. Reverse with Copenhagen (Jan 11, 1909) arrival.

Entire letter written from MARDIN on the Iraq / Turkish border, via AMERICAN MISSION/CONSTANTINOPLE (June 15th) with blue cachet, thence via American Mission in New York, franked by Usa Banknote 3 c. green tied in black and sent on to South Hadley /PA (July 11th). Rare and most unusual entire.
