Cover ex the Bianchi correspondence from VENICE to SCUTARI (Albania) endorse "via Trieste col Vapore Austriaco d'Antivari" franked on despatch by Italy 1863/65 60c. pale mauve tied by 196 dotted numeral obliterator with VENEZIA cds. at left (April 19). Reverse with Triest transit and front with SCUTARI D'ALBANIE thimble datestamp of Austrian P.O. (25/4) in blue (Coles & Walker fig. 6). Charged with Turkey 1868 Postage Due 20pa. red-brown (2) on arrival tied by all arabic SCUTARI circular handstamps in blue (Coles & Walker fig 3). A very scarce and attractive cover. Signed A. Diena.

✉ ALBANIA. 1876. MITROVICA (Kosovska, Albania) to MOSTAR (Bosnia). Envelope franked with 20 pa. and 1 kr. turkey stamp with circular blue seel. Envelope slight reduced at right. RARE. Cert. TURKISH PHILATELIC SOCIETY.

✉ ARGENTINA. 1802 (27 Febrero). MADRID a BUENOS AIRES. Marca ESPAÑA en rojo, estampada a la llegada y BUENOS/AYRES en rojo, estampada por error. Muy interesante y RARA.

✉ ARGENTINA. 1857. BUENOS AIRES a REIMS (Francia) circulada desde el interior por las Mensajerías Nacionales. Marca en reverso ovalada NUEVAS MENSAJERIAS NACIONALES DE MERLINO Y CAMPANELLA y en el frente FRANCO ambas en azul. Circulada a través del Correo Británico, marca de intercambio GB/1 F 60c. y tasa francesa de "8" décimas. Defectos periféricos pero pieza excepcional, único caso conocido del correo de las Mensajerías Nacionales al exterior.

✉ ARGENTINA. Sc. 24. 1865 (March 12). Entire letter from BUENOS AIRES to BARCELONA franked by France 1862 80 c. crossed by slight filing fold, tied by ANCHOR lozenge with fine strike of octagonal CONF. ARGENTINE/SAINTONGE at left (Salles 1030). Framed red P.P. and charged on arrival (Feb 17) in Spain with 4.Rs due mark in blue.

✉ ARGENTINA. Sc. 12, 13 (2). 1868. SAN LUIS a MENDOZA. Envuelta de carta certificada (falta parte del ángulo superior derecho). Franqueada con sello de 10 cts. verde y pareja del 15 cts. azul, mat. circular ADMON. DE CORREOS/SAN LUIS y marca CERTIFICADO en las esquinas en color azul, "recibí" manuscrito del destinatario en el anverso. MAGNÍFICA y MUY RARA.

✉ ARGENTINA. 1872. BUENOS AIRES a GÉNOVA. Fechador octogonal BUENOS AYRES/PAQ. FR. J nº 5, marca de intercambio F*56 y tasada con sellos italianos de 40 cts. y 60 cts.

✉ ARGENTINA. 1874. BUENOS AIRES a MAGGIA (Suiza). Fechador de Buenos Aires y de llegada a Génova dónde se le estampó la marca CON BASTIM, MERCANT y la carta fue tasada con 40 cents. A la entrada en Suiza manuscrita "Diritti Italia Cui 40" y manuscrito con lápiz azul "55" cents., porte final pagado por el destinatario, falta una pequeña parte de la solapa del dorso. MUY RARA.

✉ ARGENTINA. 1890. RAMALLO a STOKHOLM (Suecia). Entero Postal de 4 ctvos. castaño tasada a la llegada con sellos suecos de 5 ore (2) y 6 ore. Rarísima combinación de franqueo.

✉ ARGENTINA. 1891. FRONTAL circulado de BUENOS AIRES a PARIS con 4 ctvos. castaño (2). Sobre decorado a pluma y acuarela. ESPECTACULAR y RARÍSIMO.

✉ AUSTRIA. 1807 (11 Marzo). LIGENAN (Austria) a BÉLGICA y reexpedida a FRANCIA. Marca BAU GAL./GRANDE ARMÉE en rojo, al dorso DEB. LIEGE.

✉ LEVANTE: CORREO AUSTRIACO. 1871. Cover from TRIESTE to SYROS, Greece franked by 1867 5 kr. red and 10 kr. blue tied by oval TRIESTE datestamp of despatch in black (June 3), insufficiently prepaid 5 Kreuzer, taxed on arrival in Syros with 1868, 5 l. green on blue and 40 l. lilac on blue tied by SYROS cds (May 26, Julian) in black. Erroneously taxed at 45 lepta as prepaid 15 kr. = 45 lepta, thus the amount due was only 25 lepta.

✉ AUSTRIA. 1880 (Jan 16). Cover from Gorz to the Poste Restante at Rio de Janeiro with, on reverse 1867-74 5kr. red (4) all tied by Gorz cds's in black. Rio de Janeiro arrival cds's (Feb 13) alongside and framed 'Retour' marking in black: returned to Gorz in August 1880. A few small imperfections but a rare destination for this issue.

✉ AUSTRIA. Ed. . 1882 [Aug 21]. (BOHEMIA). Registered usage of 5kr red postal stationery envelope to SMICROV additionally franked on reverse with 1874 2x2kr yellow and 2x3kr green tied by neat strikes of ´Kamenitz A.D.Linde´ cds´s. A remarkable and fine three colour franking and exceptionally attractive. Scott 34,35.

✉ LEVANTE: CORREO AUSTRIACO. 1873. Cover from RETTIMO, CRETE to PIRAEUS franked by Austrian Levant 1867 5 s. red in a horizontal pair, slight aging on perfs. at left, tied by RETTIMO datestamp in blue (March 17) on despatch (Tchilinghirian fig. 549), taxed on arrival for internal delivery with manuscript "20" in blue crayon and franked by 1871 20 l. blue tied by dotted "2" numeral handstamp with reverse showing PIRAEUS cds (March 8, Julian). A fine and rare cover and a most attractive usage. Illustrated in "Les Tarifs Helléniques" on page 48. Signed Colla. Cert. FERCHENBAUER (2004).

Cover carried at 23 soldi rate from BEIRUT to FLORENCE, three colour 1867 issue franking of 3 s. green, 5 s. rose and 15 s. brown all tied by BERUTTI cds's. Reverse with BAIRUT CONSOL D'ITALIA handstamp (similar to a Consegna marking) and LLOYD AGENZIE-SMIME cds in black opened for better display. Scott 2,3,5.

✉ CONGO BELGA. 1918 (August). ZEMIO (French Equatorial and Belgium Congo Border) to PARÍS sent vía Sudan with two 5 mills. stamp. Faults but very rare.

✉ BRASIL. 1824 (April). RÍO DE JANEIRO to SCOTLAND. Entire letter, on reverse green BRAZIL/F handstamp applied at Falmouth. RARE.

✉ BRASIL. 1824. RÍO DE JANEIRO to SCOTLAND. 2 entire letters with red PORTSMOUTH/SHIP LETTER and LIVERPOOL/SHIP LETTER.

✉ BRASIL. (1828 CA.). OCUPACIÓN BRASILEIRA DE MONTEVIDEO. Envuelta sin texto ni fecha circulada de MONTEVIDEO a MADRID. Marcas MONTVº, en rojo y Rº DE JANRO en negro. A la llegada a Portugal se le estamparon las marcas C.EST. de N y la muy rara POR/LISBOA ambas en rojo, tasada con 100 reis y finalmente con 7 reales a la llegada a Madrid. EXTRAORDINARIAMENTE RARA.

✉ BRASIL. 1829-1871. AGENTES ENCAMINADORES. Colección montada en hojas de álbum. Consta de 23 cartas con distintas marcas, de tampón o manuscritos, de distintos Agentes Encaminadores, en cartas circuladas entre BRASIL y GRAN BRETAÑA. Excelente conjunto muy difícil de reunir. Ex. col. K. Wittig.

✉ BRASIL. 1832 (Jan. 10). RÍO DE JANEIRO to SCOTLAND. Entire letter privately carried via the "Reinaldo" packet to GLASGOW. Rated 8d. with an additional 1/2d. and TOO LATE mark. VERY RARE.

✉ BRASIL. Sc. 59. 1874. RIO GRANDE a GENOVA (Italia). 200 reis negro, circulada vía Inglaterra, fechador de tránsito SHIP-LETTER/LONDON en rojo, trasada con 22 décimas pagadas con sellos italianos de 10 cts. (2) y 2 liras.

✉ BRASIL. Sc. 54, 57, 59. 1875. PELOTAS a MONTEVIDEO. 20 reis rosa castaño, 80 reis gris y 200 reis negro. Mat. CÍRCULO DE PUNTOS con cruz en el interior de Pelotas. Magnífica y RARA.

✉ BRASIL. 1890 (Sept 7). 80r. orange postal stationery card used from Sao Paulo to Buenos Aires, struck with Swiss Consulate handstamp and forwarded on with a variety of markings. A fine and unusual usage.

✉ BRASIL. 1893. ITABAPOANA a RÍO DE JANEIRO. 50 reis verde y 700 reis lila bisectado para ser usado como 350 reis, completando un franqueo de 400 reis equivalente a cuatro portes (peso entre 46 y 60 grms.). Rarísimo, este sello bisectado no está reseñado en Meyer. Posiblemente se trate del único ejemplar conocido. Cert. B. MOORHOUSE.

✉ CHILE. 1856 (27 Marzo). SANTIAGO a VALPARAISO. 5 ctvos. chocolate oscuro, impresión GUILLET, dos grandes márgenes y dos ajustados alrededor del sello pero absolutamente completos. Color excepcional. MUY RARA.

✉ CHILE. Sc. 17, 19. 1869. CHILLAN a NEW YORK. 5 ctvos. naranja y 20 ctvos. verde circulada via Panama, tasada a la llegada con 34 ctvos., doblez de archivo vertical que afecta al sello de 5 ctvos. Magnífico y muy raro franqueo.

✉ CHILE. 1875 (18 Septiembre). CARRIZALILLO (Cerca de Talca) a GRAN BRETAÑA. Sobre con membrete al dorso CARRIZALILLO/MINING/COMPANY circulado privadamente vía CHANARAL (manuscrito en anverso) con sello de 10 cts. azul no matasellado por no circular la carta por el correo. Finalmente depositada en el correo inglés en CALLAO y franqueada con una tira de tres del sello de 6 cts. gris de GB mat. C38 de la B.P.O. del Callao, al dorso llegada. Muy interesante circulada desde esta pequeña población minera.

✉ CHILE. Sc. 15, 16 (2). 1878. CHAÑARAL a ANTOFAGASTA. Sobre de 5 ctvos. gris con franqueo adicional de 1 ctvo. naranja y 2 ctvos. negro (2). EXCEPCIONAL combinación de franqueo, posiblemente única conocida.

✉ CHILE. 1881. GUERRA DEL PACÍFICO. COPIAPO a ITALIA. 2 cts. rosa, y 5 cts. rojo (2). Franqueo de 12 cts. (1 ctvo. extra, la tarifa UPU era de 11 ctvos.). Mat. COPIAPO y fechador octogonal marítimo francés PANAMA-UNION/PAQ. F. A. Nº1 en rojo. MAGNÍFICA.

✉ CHILE. 1892. TIERRA AMARILLA a VALPARAISO. Carta Tarjeta circulada con dos sellos de 1 ctvo. naranja,al dorso llegada.

✉ CHILE. Sc. 28, 29, 31 (2). 1893. SANTIAGO a BRUSELAS (Bélgica). Entero Postal de 10 ctvos. gris con franqueo adicional de 5 cts. azul, 10 cts. naranja y 20 cts. negro (2), carta certificada con acuse de recibo, al dorso llegada.

✉ CHILE. Sc. 25, 26 (2), 32. 1895. SANTIAGO a PARÍS. Entero Postal de 20 ctvos. verde con franqueo adicional de 1 ctvo. verde, 2 ctvos. rojo (2) y 25 ctvos. castaño amarillo. Carta certificada, llegada en el frente.

✉ CHILE. Sc. 28. 1895. SAMAIPATA (Bolivia) a PARÍS. Circulada vía UYUYU y ANTOFAGASTA (fechadores de tránisto al dorso) y franqueada con sellos bolivianos de 5 cts. verde (2) con mat. en violeta (ilegible, probablemente de UYUYU) y sello de 5 ctvos. azul de Chile matasellado con un "6" de porteo probablemente a su paso por Chile. Esta carta circuló recién acabada la Guerra del Pacífico y las relaciones Bolivia-Chile seguían aún tensas y el remitente pensó en añadir también un sello de Chile a la carta para no tener problemas durante el paso de la carta por territorio chileno. Pieza excepcional y muy rara, único caso que conocemos de franqueo combinado Bolivia-Chile. Cert. PF'69.
