✉ COLONIAS ESPAÑOLAS: PUERTO RICO. Ed. Ant. 7Aa. 1864. PONCE a CENTURI (Isla de Córcega), 1/2 real azul muy oscuro (cobalto). PLANCHA LIMPIADA. Circulada por el correo inglés, marca de intercambio GB/1F 60 c. Parte de la dirección está borrada, pero rarísimo el uso de éste sello con éste color en Puerto Rico, sólo conocemos tres cartas.

MANCHESTER (Gran Bretaña) a SAN JUAN (Puerto Rico), circulada con sello de GB de 1 sh. verde (SG. 89), a la llegada, la carta fue tasada con "1/2" real, pagado con sello de Antillas Españolas de 1/2 real azul. Muy raro franqueo combinado, no más de 6 cartas conocidas con franqueo mixto Gran Bretaña+Puerto Rico. Cert. B.P.A.

Cover to FRANCE franked by Arms 50k. dll purple & green in a vertical pair, tied by Chinese Eastern Railway MANCHULI-261-HARBIN oval Railway datestamp in black (Tchilinghirian fig. 659). Repeated information strike at right alongside CHANGCHUN / IJPO cds (11/9) and reverse with Paris arrival cds (Nov 1). Roughly opened but a rare cover.

SIBERIA small correspondence of covers (7), a few with opening faults, two with 'Vive La France / Union Cooperatives de Siberie' printed envelopes sent stampless with CORR D'ARMEES / SHANGHAI cds's and BATTALION COLONIAL SIBERIEN cachets on reverse in red, March 1919 cover from VLADIVOSTOCK to TIENTSIN with Russia 25k. and MISSION MILITAIRE FRANCAISE EN SIBERIE cacht at right, registered cover from French P.O. in TIENTSIN back to VLADIVOSTOCK franked 20c., cover from CHITA with 50 kopek franking etc. (See web site).

Prisoners of the war issue, was printed in two panes of 25 (5x5) stamps which 20 have the burelage and the five in the centre, in the form of a Cross, are without burelage. In addition four of the stamps with the burelage (positions 7,9,17 and 19) bear a large Cyrillic double lined "S" two normal an two reversed. THIS STRIP OF FIVE IS THE THIRD ROW FROM THE ONLY ONE REPORTED SHEET OF 25 WITHOUT BURELAGE. First and last stamp from this strip are without burelage (16 stamps exist). The middle three stamps where issued without burelage. An exceptional rarity of German Occupation of Serbia in MNH condition. The strip of five is unique.

Prisoners of the war issue, was printed in two panes of 25 (5x5) stamps which 20 have the burelage and the five in the centre, in the form of a Cross, are without burelage. In addition four of the stamps with the burelage (positions 7,9,17 and 19) bear a large Cyrillic double lines "S" two normal and two reversed. THIS STRIP OF FIVE IS THE SECOND ROW FROM THE ONLY ONE REPORTED SHEET OF 25 WTIHOUT BURELAGE. First and last stamp from this strip are without burelage (16 stamps exist), second stamp with Cyrillic "S" (at left) and fourth stamp with Cyrillic "S" (at right) are without burelage as well (only two stamps each exist). The middle 3rd stamp was issued without burelage. An exceptional rarity of German Occupation of Serbia in MNH condition that have been lost for more than 30 years.

✉ AFRICA. (1800 CA.). TERRITORIOS ESPAÑOLES NORTE AFRICA. ARGEL a MARSELLA. Sobre sin el texto, al dorso lacre con las inciales "A.P.", marca lineal ARGEL en rojo, manuscrito "Par le Bergatin. Embrah" y diversas tasas manuscritas, marca de entrada en Francia ESPAGNE/PAR BAYONNE. Rarísima tres piezas conocidas. NOTA: Argel fue plaza española desde 1500 hasta 1830 en que pasó a manos francesas, en la ciudad alrededor de 1800 la población era de más de 5.000 personas, aunque más de la mitad eran deportados, muchos de ellos burgueses que huyeron de la Revolución Francesa.

✉ MARRUECOS. 1860 (7-Enero). Sobre enviado por un miembro del Ejercito Español en el Norte de Africa y dirigido a un Ingeniero de Minas en SANTIAGO DE CUBA. Marca EJERCITO DE AFRICA/3er CUERPO/E.M. y fechador EJERCITO ESPAÑOL EN AFRICA. Al dorso, parte del fechador de llegada a Santiago de Cuba en azul. Pieza rarísima, se trata de la carta más antigua conocida, usando el fechador del Ejercito Expedicionario y la única que conocemos dirigida a CUBA.

✉ MARRUECOS. 1874. TETUÁN a PARÍS. Sobre circulado con sello de 10 cts. azul de España (Ed. 145), mat. C.E. EN MARRUECOS/TETUAN, en el frente también C. ESPAÑOL EN AFRICA/TANGER en color verdoso (poco legible), en el dorso, fechador de tránsito de CEUTA y MADRID. Tarifa especial para tarjetas de visita (del 1 Octubre 1872) a Francia de 8 cts. sobrepagados con sello de 10 cts. PIEZA EXCEPCIONAL y de extraordinaria rareza. Una de las tres cartas conocidas de la Oficina Española en Tetuán y la única conocida dirigida al extranjero en este período. ✉ SUIZA. 1930 (8-XI). ROMANSHORN to NEW YORK. Envelope franked by 2 1/2 Rp. three 3 rp. and 3 Fr., 5 Fr. flown on FIRST DORNIER DO-X transatlantic fligh to Rio de Janeiro.

✉ SUIZA. 1930 (12-XI). ROMANSHORN to HEIDEN. Picture Postcard franked pair 2 Fr. and 1 Fr. flown on FIRST DORNIER DO-X transatlantic flight to RIO DE JANEIRO.

✉ TAILANDIA. 1894. 4a. carmine on buff postal stationery card with 1894 BANGKOK cds, used as formula card in 1902 with Germany 5pf. green tied by BERLIN cds and used locally (28/2). Unusual.

✉ TAILANDIA. 1902. Cover from SAN FRANCISCO addressed to a Captain serving with the Siamese Forces, addressed to CHIENGMAI in Northern Thailand 'via Moulmein', bearing Grant 5c. blue tied by SAN FRANCISCO despatch (July 21). Struck with framed MALDIRIGE (Missent) and CHIENGMAI arrival cds on front. Reverse with array of transits: Singapore (Sept 1), Bangkok (Sept 6) all struck in search of Captain Hans Marqvard Jensen, who had died in the Battle of Phayao (Oct 14, 1902). Cover endorsed 'Dead' in pencil and mailed back to sender, arriving in San Francisco (March 22, 1903). An extraordinary cover addressed to the 'Shan Rebellion' (July 1902-September 1903), where the Thais brutally suppressed the Shan Tribes. UNIQUE and splendid cover that would benefit by being opened for display.

✉ TAILANDIA. 1907. 2pf. grey + 3pf. brown postal stationery card mailed to BANGKOK and up-rated with 2pf. grey and 3pf. brown adhesives tied by OBERTURKHEIM cds's in black (Sept 28). Struck on arrival with native Bangkok cds and bridge type Bangkok arrival (28/10) cds. A scarce destination.

✉ TURQUIA. Mi. 16a. 1913. LEBANON. Advertising envelope bearing single franking 1910 issue 1 piastre blue tied by extremely rare all arabic negative BESALE KARIYESI POSTA SUBESI 1317 (BECHALE VILLAGE POST OFFICE 1901) seal sent to U.S.A. This is one of the two recorded covers sent to the same address and the best cover showing very clearly the extremely RARE post seal. Cert. Y. NAKRI.

✉ ESTADOS UNIDOS. 1817. BALTIMORE to LISBON, addressed and forwarded via Cadiz. Postmark CADIZ, in red and HESPANHA, in black applied on arrival, indicating the origin, on reverse name of forwarding agent, manuscript. VERY FINE and RARE.

✉ ESTADOS UNIDOS. 1848 (6 Mayo). LAWRENCEVILLE (Georgia, USA) to US ship "Ohio" Pacific Scuadron in Callao. Envelope with full contents, carried by ship "Julia". Red oval forwarding agent stamp FORWARDED BY J.H. JOHNSON and manuscript "Callao" (Perú).

✉ PANAMA. 1853. SAN FRANCISCO to LIMA (Perú). SAN FRANCISCO cds and straight line PAID, sent via the British Post Office in Panama, with Crown circle PAID/AT/PANAMA in red and rated "6d" for the postage to LIMA, where it was charged "1" in blue for the internal delivery. Fine and rare. Cert. P. HOLCOMBE.

✉ ESTADOS UNIDOS. Sc. 9,11. 1856 (May 4). Entire letter from NEW ORLEANS to MARSEILLE, franked by overlapping 1851 1c. blue (2, one showing marginal rule) and single 3c. brown-red tied by NEW ORLEANS datestamps in black (May 4) and by New York cds in red (May 14). Thence via London (May 24) and transits and arrival on reverse, charged '13' decimes due on receipt.

✉ ESTADOS UNIDOS. Sc. 32 (2). 1858. SACRAMENTO (California) to ISLAY (Perú). Red 3 cts. envelope uprated with two 10 cts. green (2) making 23 cents. (one cent in excess). On arrival a faint incomplete FRANCA in black struck here. Fine and rare franking.

✉ ESTADOS UNIDOS. 1857. PHILADELPHIA to LIVERPOOL. Sent without stamps, forwarded by BROWN, SHIPLEY, Co and redirected to SWITZERLAND with British 1 sh. green stamp. A very interesting cover.

✉ ESTADOS UNIDOS. 1857. LOS ANGELES to CASTRES (France) cds. LOS ANGELES/CAL (manuscript "Juny 9"), postmarks "26", PAID and French-British exchange GB/40c (circulated via Panama, the date January 9th, conicides with one of the most important earthquakes happened at California, at Fort Tejon). VERY FINE and RARE.

Accepted as postage and tied by SEGMENTED CORK handstamps in black. Struck with PAID ONLY / TO ENGLAND and SHORT PAID instructionals and framed GB/40c. accountancy marking in black applied in London and further F/50 altered to F/20 in manuscript in Paris. An extraordinary entire of great visual appeal.
