Renewed disturbances´ and endorsed to LONDON per British Packet. The entire was sent via JAMAICA with manuscript ´Fwd´d 22 June 1840´ with outstanding KINGSTON cds on reverse (June 27) and LONDON arrival on reverse (Aug 9). On arrival in FALMOUTH a superb strike of the CARTHAGENA Fleuron handstamp in red applied on front and rated 4 s. 1 d. Truly delightful and historic cover.

✉ ANTILLAS DANESAS. 1846. PARÍS to HUMACAO (Puerto Rico) via French GUADALUPE with cds in black of transit, via ST. THOMAS and dokered per "Europa" with rare octogonal framed S. TOMAS applied in red. Rated 4 1/2 reales on arrival. Extremely rare, unique known with the combination marks.

✉ ANTILLAS DANESAS. 1859. LE HAVRE to PORT AU PRINCE (Haiti). Wrapper circulated with two French 80 cts. carmine stamps via England and St. Thomas, on the back Southampton and St. Thomas datestamps, subsequently circulated via San Juan de Puerto Rico (datestamp on back) where the ST. TOMAS mark in blue was applied. EXTRAORDINARY COMBINATION, the only one known. LE HAVRE a PORT AU PRINCE (Haití). Envuelta circulada con dos sellos franceses de 80 cts. carmín vía Inglaterra y St. Thomas, al dorso fechadores de Southampton y St. Thomas, de allí circuló vía San Juan de Puerto Rico (fechador al dorso) donde se le aplicó la marca ST. TOMAS en azul. Excepcional combinación, única que conocemos.

✉ ANTILLAS DANESAS. 1869 (15 Nov.). DANISH WEST INDIES. SANTANDER (Spain) to CARUPANO (Venezuela). Circulated with two 200 mils. green stamps tied by grill cancel. Letter circulated in the steam mail "Guipuzcoa" of Antonio López Company from Cádiz to La Habana (arrival on December 18th). The letter was embarked on the Spanish Steam "Moctezuma" where the SPANISH MAIL PACKET mark was placed by the Agent of the British Mail who traveled aboard. This steam left on December 20th (same date as the datestamp) from La Habana heading to Puerto Rico and St. Thomas. In St. Thomas was detained by the British Postal Agency and the mark Nª 2498 / DETAINED FOR POSTAGE was applied and the addressee was notified to pay the postage of 4d. so the letter could be forwarded. OUTSTANDING PIECE, very few letters known with datestamp from the Spanish Mail Packet and this is the only one we know coming from an European country. Cert. COMEX.

✉ ANTILLAS DANESAS. 1876. SANTIAGO DE CUBA to LIMA. Privately carried to St. Thomas, franked with GB 4 d. vermillon, pl. 15 (3) tied by duplex ST. THOMAS/PAID + C-51. Carried via Colon and Panama to Lima. A very rare destination in the Pacific Coast.

✉ REPUBLICA DOMINICANA. 1824. OCUPACIÓN HAITIANA DE SANTO DOMINGO (1822-44). PUERTO PLATA a LONDRES. Carta completa con texto. Al dorso marca SHIP LETTER GREENWOCK y en el frente ADDL/1/2 tasa escocesa. Muy rara, una de las cartas más antiguas conocidas circuladas desde Santo Domingo.
