Lieutenant Governor and Commander in Chief of the Province of Pennsylvania and Counties of New Castle, Kent and Sussex on Delaware". Bearing NY manuscript mark and rated "9" (G. Thomas was the Governor of Pennsylvania from June 1st 1738 to May 1746).

Imaginary postal stationary envelope (2 cents.) franked with 1 cts. blue, 3 cents. green (3) and 10 cts. brown stamps with oval NEW YORK cancel. Plethora of registered markings front and back including Uruguay registered label. Spectacular combination franking with the absurd postal stationary.

✉ URUGUAY. 1853. MONTEVIDEO a BILBAO (España). FAJA DE PRENSA circulada por el correo británico vía Islas Canarias. Marca PAID/AT/MONTEVIDEO y tarifa manuscrita de "2 d" (tarifa de impresos). Marca de entrada en España ESTRANGERO/CADIZ en rojo y tasa de 1 real corregida a 7 reales. Al dorso fechadores de tránsito de Tenerife y llegada a Bilbao. Rarísima asociación de marcas solo conocemos esta carta.

✉ URUGUAY. 1854 (March 31). Outer letter sheet from MONTEVIDEO to BUENOS AIRES, bearing superb strike on the PAID/AT/MONTEVIDEO crowned circle with matching double arc on reverse, 10 centésimos marking indicating payment of the local postage and 1/- confirming payment of the British packet rate, being carried by the RMSP "Severn". The British post office was supplied a "crowned circle" hanstamp in 1851, for use to denote prepayment of mail carried to a non-British destination. About ten examples of this postmark are recorded on cover, this being probably the finest. SG CC1. Ex H. Rocha and Parmigiani.

Muy rara, muy pocas carta conocidas salidas de Montevideo circuladas en esta línea de Vapores.
