✉ AUSTRALIA. Sg. 172. 1888. Sailor's concession rate cover to BOSTON (UK) endorsed at top 'From J. E. Young, HMS Swinger, Austral.' and countersigned by Commanding Officer below. Franked by Great Britain 1881 1d. lilac tied on arrival by Foreign Branch 'FB' obliterator in black and charged a further '1d.' due on receipt (Nov 26). Stamp excised and replaced. Cert. BPA (2006).

LUCIA with arrival mark 11/FE 1863 on reverse, inside pre-pinted BARBADOS PRICES CURRENT (not complete), entire some marks, otherwise very fine.

Registered cover to LONDON franked by extraordinary usage of 1888 3d. lilac & black, 1891 overprinted 2d. bistre, overprinted on GB 1891 4d. green & purple-brown and 1s. dull green, Protectorate 1897 ½d. vermilion, 1d. lilac, 6d. purple on rose-red, most in blocks of four or four of each, tied by PALAPYE datestamps in black.  London arrival (Oct 29) also on front of a dramatic and scarce cover.

✉ CABO DE BUENA ESPERANZA. Sg. 40+41+44. 1883 (Aug. 7). Cover to PRAGUE franked by 1882 Hope ½d. black (2), 1d. rose-red (8) and single 6d. mauve all tied by STELLENBOSCH obliterators in black. Split rate '5' in red crayon on front and reverse with Prague arrival cds (Aug 29). Some aging but a dramatic and scarce usage.

✉ CEILAN. Yv. 54+57. 1876 (Feb. 16). Cover to a Ship's Captain care of the French Consul in POINTE DE GALLES (Galle, Ceylon), franked by Ceres 1871/74 10c. brown on rose pair and single 80c. carmine tied by Nantes 2602 gros chiffres. Circular cachet AGENCE CONSULAIRE DE FRANCE / POINTE DE GALLES in blue and sent on to CALCUTTA. Reverse with Galle cds (March 16) and Calcutta arrival (March 25).

Envelope registered unusually from SUVA to RAROTONGA (Cook Islands), bearing 1d. black perf. 10, 2d. dull green perf. 11 3/4, 5d. ultramarine perf. 11 x 10 and on the reverse, 1/2d. stale-grey perf. 11 x 10 (2), with D3 cancellations, "R" in oval (R10), Auckland May 27th transit on reverse.

✉ FIJI. Sg. 66, 55. 1897. 1s. pale brown perf. 11 used with perf. 11 x 10 6d. pale rose (2) on clean cover registered 1897 (July 12th) from SUVA to GERMANY tied by neat D4 c.d.s's with ms. registration marking, London transit and Baden-Baden Sept. 1st arrival backstamp.

Envelope underpaid from SUVA to SAN FRANCISCO bearing 1d. rosy mauve perf. 11 x 11 3/4 vertical pair and single, showint "T" in circle with ms. 1d', arriving Oct. 20 and redirected to PARIS with U.S. CHARGE/TO COLLECT/4 CENTS mark deleted, French 10c. postage due pair subsequently added cancelled Nov. 20th. Ex. Robertson.

Double rate envelope to LONDON, bearing 1876-84 4 d. magenta pair each cancelled by ELIMA cds in blue, showing red crayon "8", CAPE COAST transit cds (4.5), red PAID/LIVERPOOL/BR. PACKET cds (3.6) with arrival datestamp (4.6) on reverse, some creases though an attractive franking.

✉ COSTA DE ORO. 1888 (16 Feb.). Envelope to LONDON, bearing 1885 4 d. deep mauve vertical pair affixed sideways and tied by "554" numeral, showing manuscript "8", ACCRA cds and PAID/LIVERPOOL/BR. PACKET cds in red (16.3) with arrival datestamp on reverse.

✉ COSTA DE ORO. 1889 (26 Dec.). Envelope to LONDON, bearing 1885 4 d. deep mauve tied by WINNEBAH cds in red with another clear strike alongside, showing red crayon "4", CAPE COAST transit d.s. (28.12) and PAID/LIVERPOOL/BR. PACKET cds in red (27.1). A neat and attractive franking.

✉ COSTA DE ORO. 1897 (11 June). Double rate envelope registered to PETERBOROUGH, bearing 1884-91 1/2 d., 1 d. pair and 2 1/2 tied by KUMASI/GOLD COAST double ring d.s. and a further 1 d. vertical pair tied by CAPE COAST/GOLD COAST double-ring d.s. on 17th June, showing "R" in oval, REGISTERED LIVERPOOL d.s. (16.7) with, on reverse, CAPE COAST (17.6) and arrival datestamp; the envelope with part flap missing.

✉ GRANADA. 1769 (April 27). Entire letter from GRENADA to FRANCE, with manuscript Forwarding Agent on reverse 'Par addresse de votres humbles obedt. serviteurs p. Baril & Texier, Londres le 20 Juin, 1769', struck with ANGLETERRE in black at top and charged '30' sols due on receipt in manuscript. Some flap faults but a rare and early letter.

✉ HONDURAS BRITANICA. 1829 (Sept. 23). Entire letter (a consignment of indigo) from BELIZE to LONDON, mailed via Cuba with fine HAVANA on front in black, charged 3s. in manuscript on receipt. London Foreign P.O. arrival cds (Dec 21) on reverse of a fine entire. A very RARE routing for a letter from BELIZE.

✉ HONDURAS BRITANICA. 1897. BELIZE to LONDON. 5 cts. blue (2) with K65 cancel. Fine and rare.

✉ HONG KONG. 1900. 1c. green Postal Stationery card used back from UK with Great Britain 1900 ½d. dull green tied by HALWELL datestamps in black and addressed to the 'Controller, General Post Office, Hong Kong'. SINGAPORE-TO-HONG KONG, code B datestamp at left (Aug 12). Reverse with POTMASTER GENERAL'S OFFICE / HONG KONG cachet in violet (Aug 17) and returned to sender with Hong Kong 4c. slate tied by despatch cds (Sept) in black. A rare and most appealing usage.

✉ HONG KONG. Sg. 172. 1901 (March 15). Cover to HOLMWOOD (Surrey, England) franked by Great Britain 1881 1d. lilac tied by single ring HONG KONG cds, code F, datestamp in black. Reverse with Dorking arrival cds (April 13) in black. Slightest aging but a RARE and attractive usage.

✉ HONG KONG. 1907. HONG KONG to MANILA. Registered envelope of 10 cts. uprated 20 cts. arrival MANILA cds on back. Very fine.

✉ INDIA INGLESA. 1857. CALCUTA to AUCKLAND (New Zealand). 4 annas black with AUCKLAND arrival cds on front. Rare destination at this time.

✉ INDIA INGLESA. Sg. 43+45+48+52. 1862. Cover endorsed 'via Marseilles' to BOSTON (USA) franked by 1856-64 2a. yellow, 4a black in a horizontal pair and a strip of four, 8a. carmine and 1860 8p. purple on white tied by unclear numeral cancels and in manuscript. London transit on front (Jan 26, 1863) in red with deleted obliterator handstamps in black and red alongside. Manuscript '4/2d.' in red and Credit '32 Cents' in red applied on arrival with BOSTON AM. PKT. cds of arrival on reverse (Feb 13). An unusual cover.

✉ INDIA INGLESA. Ed. . 1881. Cover to MALTA franked by three India 1 a. brown tied by square barred handstamp in black with PORT BLAIR cds of despatch on reverse, Sea PO transit and MALTA arrival cds. Rare and fine cover. Sc 22.

✉ INDIA INGLESA. 1881. SIALKOT to PARIS. 1/2 anna blue and 4 annas grey green, on back local stamp of KASHMIR 1 anna red. Rare combination franking on cover to overseas.

✉ INDIA. 1897. Cover to ADEN, underpaid with single ½a. blue-green tied by NOWGONG cds in black. Cover much re-addressed (Aden, Suez, back to Assam) and reverse with SEA POST OFFICE cds (Oct 17), Aden cds (Oct 24), French Postage Dues 10c. brown (4) applied and tied in PORT SAID (Jan 19, 1897) and deleted in manuscript, Ligne N French Paquebot (Jan 30), Bombay cds (Feb 10). A most unusual cover.

✉ INDIA INGLESA. 1901. KOTGARH to GERMANY. 2 annas, 6 pence postal stationary envelope uprated 1/4 on 1/2 anna (6), 3 p. (13), 1 anna, 6 pies on front and back.

✉ JAMAICA. 1872. KINGSTON to PARIS. 2 p. rose and 6 p. lilac (2) tied by AO1 cancel and red french maritime KINGSTON/PAQ. FR. Nº 4 cds. VERY RARE a few known.

✉ LAGOS. 1899 (4 Oct.). Envelope registered to ENGLAND, bearing 1884 1 d. rose-carmine pair and 1891 3 d. dull mauve and chestnut, all cancelled by oval of bars, showing manuscript "R", Liverpool Registered d.s. (29.10) and London Registered hooded d.s. (30.10) in violet, the reverse (roughly opened) with despatch and arrival datestamp. An attractive franking 1/2 d. overpaid.

✉ LAGOS. 1901 (20 Febrero). Envelope registered to GERMANY, bearing 1893 1/2 d. on 4 d. (2) and 1894 5 d. dull mauve and green, each tied by LAGOS/W. AFRICA cds, showing "R" in oval,REGISTERED LONDON transit ds in red and, on reverse, LAGOS and poor arrival datestamp.

✉ LEVANTE: CORREO INGLES. 1891. CONSTANTINOPLA to BERLIN. Registered cover with 40 p. to 2 1/2 d. lilac, 40 p. on 2 1/2 d. blue and EXPRESS D'ORIENT label cds. BRITISH POST OFFICE/CONSTANTINOPLE and arrival on back.

✉ MALAYA. 1857 (25 August). PENNANG to LONDON. With BEARING lineal mark.

✉ MALAYA. 1887. PENANG to ENGLAND. 2 cent. red and 8 cts. yellow, with PENANG cds, arrival on back.

✉ MALTA. 1864. ALEXANDRIE to MARSEILLE with french stamps of 10 cts. bistre (3) and 40 cts. orange (one stamp fault) cancel 2240 diamond of dots and handstamp MALTA/MB datestamp. The letter was carried to Malta by a P&O strip then transferred to a French ship carriage to Marseille. Faults but rare.

✉ MALTA. Sg. Z38+Z50. 1877 (Jan. 23). Registered entire letter to WEISLOCK (Baden, Germany) franked by Great Britain 1876 2½d. mauve pl. 5 and 1876 4d. vermilion, pl. 15, just touched at corner, tied by A25 obliterators with fine REGISTERED / MALTA cds in red alongside. Reverse with Weisloch arrival cds (29/1).

✉ MAURICIO. 1900. MAURITIUS to PARIS. 1 cts. (6) 6 cts. and 15 cts.(2) on registered cover, arrival on back.

✉ SAN KITTS-NEVIS. 1845. NEVIS to VANNES (France) from a Frenchmen prevented to leave the island for his inhability to pay some debts, forwarded to New York by A.C. ROSIERE & CO. (large red oval cachet on reverse). OUTREMER/LE HAVRE entry mark.

✉ SAN KITTS-NEVIS. 1889. Envelope to LONDON franked by 4 p. orange with REVENUE ovpr. cancelled on arrival by LONDON E. C. datestamp. A rare stamp on cover, probably unique cover known with this stamp cancelled on arrival.
