Cover from PHILADELPHIA to WASHINGTON DC., franked by Blood's Penny Post (1c.) black on white paper tied by BLOOD'S PENNY POST / JUN 17-11 A.M.-PHILAD alongside 1857-61 3c. dull red tied by grid cancellation with Philadelphia cds at right (June 17). The envelope with small faults but a scarce combination usage.

Incorrectly dated (DEC.) red ETATS-UNIS/PAQ. FR. H Nº 4 overstruck with anchor in diamond of dots maritime cancel, second strike dated with the correct NOV. Fine and unusual use.

Entire letter from NEW YORK to CADIZ (Spain) endorsed per steamer 'Russia' at 24 cents rate franked by vertical pair of Washington 1867 12c. black (with grill) tied by CORK cancels in black. London transit cds in red (June 12) and taxed on arrival in Cadiz with '12' Reales due handstamp in red. A rare and fine pair on a SCARCE cover.

Fine strike of ´GB-40c´ Anglo-French Accountancy marking in black and charged 5 decimes due on receipt. London transit on reverse (July 30) in red. Scott 146. Cert. PF´2002.

Octagonal 'Etats-Unis/Paq.Fr.H.No.3' in black (April 16) and charged 8 decimes due on receipt (April 27). A pretty cover. Scott 116.

Cover to CHEMNITZ (Saxony) sent registered with 1875-79 Taylor 5c. blue horizontal pair and 1873 single 10c. brown tied in blue with cork cancels and St. Louis despatch cds. VOM AUSLANDE-ÜBER BREMEN-EINGESCHRIEBEN label applied on arrival and backstamped at New York (Oct. 19) and Chemnitz (Nov 1). An attractive cover.

A rare use of postage due on cover.

Krutzer & Rivodo / Caracas / La Guaira" with HERNANDEZ & RIVODO/LA GUAIRA forwarding agent cachet and addes 1863 1/2r Eagle tied by LA GUAIRA cds (18 Mar) to pay ongoing postage to Caracas. RARE usage of an Eagle stamp.

(2) y 80 cts., transportada por un paquebot de la línea "Ebis" desde Carupano hasta Fort de France, los sellos fueron obliterados por ERROR en la MARTINIQUE/FORT DE FRANCE. Carta tasada a la llegada con 1,20 pesetas. Muy rara y probablemente única.
