Kingston cds of despatch on reverse. A very rare entire. SG 9,12,13.

Envelope registered to ENGLAND, bearing 1884 1 d. rose-carmine pair and 1891 3 d. dull mauve and chestnut, all cancelled by oval of bars, showing manuscript "R", Liverpool Registered d.s. (29.10) and London Registered hooded d.s. (30.10) in violet, the reverse (roughly opened) with despatch and arrival datestamp. An attractive franking 1/2 d. overpaid.

Ship Amethyst" sent at soldiers and seaman's rate bearing Great Britain 1 d. red (SG 40) tied by transit in London addressed to DEVON with LORRINGTON arrival on reverse. Scarce item of mail from Singapore.

Melbourne, Singapore" on reverse; struck with two very fine strikes of circular LIGNE N-PAQ. FR. No. 5 Paquebot datestamp in black. St. Gallen arrival cds at left (Feb 19). A fine and scarce usage.
