OHMS envelope (a little trauncated at left) registered to MEXICO, bearing 1/2 d. dull green and 3 d. grey in combination with 1874 6 d. dull mauve, all clearly tied by HAMILTON/BERMUDA double ring, d.s., showing New York Exchange and Mexico registration labels with, on reverse, PUEBLA arrival datestamp. A most unusual destination.

✉ BRUNEI. Ed. . 1940. Cover bearing 1924-37 6 c.& 2 c.& 4 c. (see reverse) cancelled by the ´BRUNEI/30/APR/1940´ cds, used to USA showing the framed PASSED BY CENSOR/4 hs. Very scarce commercial censor mail.

✉ BRUNEI. Ed. . 1948. Cover used to ENGLAND bearing 25 c. & 30 c. (SG 87, 88) tied by the KUALA BELAIT/BRUNEI single ring cds. On arrival the cover was re-directed to IRELAND.

✉ CANADA. 1813. Pre-stamp envelope to LIVERPOOL written from QUEBEC and cancelled by oval CROWN/SHIP LETTER QUEBEC in black, sent on the steamer "Queen Anne" via Milford Haven. Fine item.

✉ CANADA. 1825 (Aug 16). Entire letter dateline from MAISONNETTE (New Brunswick) struck on the reverse with italic NEWTON ABBOT/PENNY POST in black, prepaid 2/6d. in red ink and charged in manuscript on front in reis "560+70=630" due. Oval Lisbon arrival in black (28/8) also on front of fine entire. Rare destination at this time.

✉ CANADA. 1833. Transatlantic mail from MONTREAL (text on emigrants in 1752) charged "8" and forwarded from New York with boxed French entry PAYS D'OUTREMER PAR LE HAVRE in black. Manuscript "Il n'y a pour l'ecrivain aucune moyen d'affrachir la lettre plus loin que jusqu'a New York". Interesting item.

✉ CANADA. 1842 (Sept.19). Entire letter from NORFOLK, Canada (contents mention Port Royal) addressed to LURI, Corsica with two strikes of red entry marking OUTRE-MER/CETTE with Month in Date inverted error, black VIA DI NIZZA and SARDAIGNE-ANTIBES in red, BASTIA arrival datestamp (Dec 11).

✉ CANADA. 1844. Pre-stamp envelope to FRANCE cancelled by ORILLIA U.C. double ring in blue with date in manuscript routed via Quebec with manuscript "Paid", handstruck P.D. in oval sent via London with TOMBSTONE PAID with French entry cachet and arrival. A rare trans-Atlantic item.

✉ CANADA. 1853 (July 9). Cover to BELLEVILLE, Canada West franked by imperforate 1851 6 d. violet grey cancelled, but not tied by, concentric ring obliterator in black. MONTREAL red cds of despatch below and BELLEVILLE arrival in blue on reverse. A rare stamp on letter. Scott 2b.

✉ CANADA. 1857 (January 12). MONTREAL to FRANCE. Endorsed "Per Steamer 14 January" via British Mail. Mark of exchange GB/3F 02 (Salles 3043). Extremely rare only in use in 1847. Two or three covers known.

✉ CANADA. 1857. Cover from MONTREAL, sent to England aboard the Cunard steamship Niagara, and forwarded to France with scarce GB/2F40c accountancy marking (Salles 3041.used only in 1857). Front shows MONTREAL datestamp, ANGL/AMB.CALAIS french entry, plus "20" decimes postage due handstamp. Reverse bears (red) LONDON and PARIS transits, plus COGNAC arrival datestamps. A fine and scarce transatlantic cover.

✉ CANADA. 1862 (May 22). Registered cover to SHARON via Toronto, bearing perf 1859 1 c. rose pair and Beaver 5 c. vermilion vertical pair tied by MONTREAL duplexes. Straight line REGISTERED handstamp above and reverse with SHARON arrival cds. Faults on the 1 c. adhesives but a scarce franking. Scott 14, 15.

✉ CANADA. 1864 (Feb 29). Leap year day cover to Kingston franked by 1859 1c. rose (5, one with small perf. fault) all tied by Montreal duplexes. Kingston arrival on reverse. Scott 14.

✉ CANADA. 1864 (Nov 26). Cover to Chelsea, Mass, USA franked for 10c rate with pair of 19860 5c deep green tied by black grid cancel and red circular ´Paid-10´. Whites Cove despatch handstamp with manuscript date at left. Reverse with Gagetown and St. John cds´s (Nov 29). A scarce cover. SG 15.

Partly clear numeral in oval on Great Britain 1 p. red tied by gum staining on pink cover to BRIGHTON, England, concessionary rate with proper endorsement ´From William Lintott, Steward, HMS Phoebe, Halifax´ Brighton backstamp (Oct. 19,1867), edges frayed and torn, backflap removed - modest restoration could significantly improve appearance- Fine and extremely rare ´A93´ mail boat numeral on a seaman´s concessionary rate cover, carried on the S.S. Java on her 16th. transatlantic round trip.

Cover to St. Pierre Miquelon bearing scarce 1870 3c. vermilion cancelled by black segmented handstamp of St. John's with watery despatch cds at left and St. Pierre arrival (Sept 1) below. Manuscript '0.25' on front as amount due on receipt. Some small faults but a rare cover. Sismondo certificate. SG 36.

✉ CANADA. 1872 (Dec 21). Cover to Philadelphia franked by pair of Small Queen 1868-90 3c. brown-red tied by dotted cork cancellations in black with Ottawa cds of dispatch below. Reverse with Philadelphia arrival cds. A fresh and fine cover.

✉ CANADA. 1879 (Oct. 26). ST. PIERRE (Newfoundland) to FRANCE. Hand illustrated cover with contents, franked with 5 cts. grey (not cancelled). On back London transit and Paris arrival cds's.

✉ CANADA. 1881 (Sept 3). Cover from HAMILTON to LONDON franked by Small Queen 5c. slate grey-green tied by HAMILTON despatch duplex; readdressed on arrival in London to France with 1881 2½d. ultramarine pl. 22 tied by LONDON duplex (Sept 19). A fresh and fine cover. SG 157.

✉ CANADA. 1888 (Aug). Mourning cover from New South Wales to Ontario, Canada franked by 6d violet tied in black. On arrival the cover was readdressed and mailed on to Battlecreek, USA franked by pair of Small Queens 3c orange red, overlapping the original adhesive. Ontario cds on front and reverse with five transit cds´s. An unusual combination.

✉ CANADA. Ed. . 1894 (Dec 11). Cover from TORONTO to MADRAS, India franked by Small Queens 1 c. yellow pair and single 3 c. rose red tied by TORONTO despatch cds´s, endorsed ´Via Brindisi´ with ´Sea Post Office-A´ cds and COCONADA arrival cds (Jan 23) on reverse. Scarce destination. Scott 35,37.

✉ CANADA. Ed. . 1896. Cover franked with 10 c. Small Queen (Sc 45), prepaying the double UPU letter rate to AUSTRIA. Stamp tied by MONTREAL-CANADA Flag Cancel, and reverse shows LONDON transit and WIEN arrival datestamps. A beautiful and scarce Flag Cancel cover.
