OHMS envelope (a little trauncated at left) registered to MEXICO, bearing 1/2 d. dull green and 3 d. grey in combination with 1874 6 d. dull mauve, all clearly tied by HAMILTON/BERMUDA double ring, d.s., showing New York Exchange and Mexico registration labels with, on reverse, PUEBLA arrival datestamp. A most unusual destination.

Entire letter dateline from MAISONNETTE (New Brunswick) struck on the reverse with italic NEWTON ABBOT/PENNY POST in black, prepaid 2/6d. in red ink and charged in manuscript on front in reis "560+70=630" due. Oval Lisbon arrival in black (28/8) also on front of fine entire. Rare destination at this time.

✉ CANADA. 1833. Transatlantic mail from MONTREAL (text on emigrants in 1752) charged "8" and forwarded from New York with boxed French entry PAYS D'OUTREMER PAR LE HAVRE in black. Manuscript "Il n'y a pour l'ecrivain aucune moyen d'affrachir la lettre plus loin que jusqu'a New York". Interesting item.

✉ CANADA. 1842 (Sept.19). Entire letter from NORFOLK, Canada (contents mention Port Royal) addressed to LURI, Corsica with two strikes of red entry marking OUTRE-MER/CETTE with Month in Date inverted error, black VIA DI NIZZA and SARDAIGNE-ANTIBES in red, BASTIA arrival datestamp (Dec 11).

✉ CANADA. 1857. Cover from MONTREAL, sent to England aboard the Cunard steamship Niagara, and forwarded to France with scarce GB/2F40c accountancy marking (Salles 3041.used only in 1857). Front shows MONTREAL datestamp, ANGL/AMB.CALAIS french entry, plus "20" decimes postage due handstamp. Reverse bears (red) LONDON and PARIS transits, plus COGNAC arrival datestamps. A fine and scarce transatlantic cover.

Partly clear numeral in oval on Great Britain 1 p. red tied by gum staining on pink cover to BRIGHTON, England, concessionary rate with proper endorsement ´From William Lintott, Steward, HMS Phoebe, Halifax´ Brighton backstamp (Oct. 19,1867), edges frayed and torn, backflap removed - modest restoration could significantly improve appearance- Fine and extremely rare ´A93´ mail boat numeral on a seaman´s concessionary rate cover, carried on the S.S. Java on her 16th. transatlantic round trip.

Cover to St. Pierre Miquelon bearing scarce 1870 3c. vermilion cancelled by black segmented handstamp of St. John's with watery despatch cds at left and St. Pierre arrival (Sept 1) below. Manuscript '0.25' on front as amount due on receipt. Some small faults but a rare cover. Sismondo certificate. SG 36.

On arrival the cover was readdressed and mailed on to Battlecreek, USA franked by pair of Small Queens 3c orange red, overlapping the original adhesive. Ontario cds on front and reverse with five transit cds´s. An unusual combination.

Nº 10 datestamp in blue (Salles 1933) routed via Brindisi with French entry cachet and LEIDEN arrival on front. Very fine item of paquebot mail with this unrecorded maritime cachet in blue.
