(lifted and replaced) cancelled 186 reposted on arrival to Edinburgh with 1 d red tied by Dublin 186 duplex, bs H&KPACT/7 cds, an unusual conjunction of matching numerals of two countries and a rare mixed usage.

Franked by Great Britain 1881 1d. lilac tied on arrival by Foreign Branch 'FB' obliterator in black and charged a further '1d.' due on receipt (Nov 26). Stamp excised and replaced. Cert. BPA (2006).
