GUATEMALA. 1866. Entire to LIMA (Perú) bearing 6d. JG plate 5 tied by "C35" PANAMA duplex applied in transit. CORREOS GUATEMALA despatch datestamp, with large Compagnie Generale Transatlantique Agence De Guatemala in darker shade of blue on reverse. Obverse with framed FRANCO, reverse with manuscript "2" and black handstamped "2" that has been obliterated and replaced below with handstamped "1". A fine and extremely RARE usage of Great Britain stamps.

GUATEMALA. Sc. 4b. 1874 (Nov. 26th). Cover to LONDON from GUATEMALA CITY. GUATEMALA despatch in blue and franked by the only known used example of the 1871 20 c. blue ERROR OF COLOUR tied by "1" handstampa of Guatemala in black. Three line dated PANAMA-TRANSIT handstamp in black and LONDON FOREIGN BRANCH cds (Jan 13th 1874) at upper right over-struck with 1/6 (one shilling and six pence) charge marking. Part of the address restored. Unique and extraordinary cover. Signed Block and Cert. P.F. (2001). Ex. HUBBARD and LANGE.

GUATEMALA. 1876 (Noviembre 29). GUATEMALA a GUEZALTENANGO y devuelta a GUATEMALA. Sobre dirigido a D. Feliciano Garcia (secretario privado del Presidente de la República). Circulada con sellos FISCAL de 1/2 real castaño con inscripciones TIMBRE DE GUATEMALA, al dorso llegada a Quezaltenango. El uso de sellos fiscales por el correo nunca fue autorizado en Guatemala, probablemente la circulación fue autorizada por el correo debido a que iba dirigida a una persona relevante. PIEZA EXCEPCIONAL y ÚNICA CONOCIDA. Sin duda, la pieza más importante conocida en este período. Ex. col. N. HUBBARD y M. SPYCHER.

GUATEMALA. Sc. 18. 1881 (Aug. 20). Cover, somewhat tired and with minor corner fault at upper left, used to BRISTOL franked by provisional sucharge 5 c. on 1/2 r. yellow green, slight stain, cancelled by blue fancy handstamp (Goodman CF46) with octogonal CORREOS-GUATEMALA datestamp in violet at left. Reverse with Bristol arrival cds (Sept 26). An extremely rare issue on letter, this rate is only valid from August 1st until October 8th 1881. Cert. CALVES (1976) and FRIEDL (1976).

Una carta del periodo Colonial (1815) con indicación manuscrita "E.S.M." (en sus manos), dos cartas del periodo de la Federación de Estados Centroamericanos (1821-1839) y el resto de cartas del periodo Independiente de Honduras, nueve de ellas con marca y las otras con indicaciones manuscritas del correo urgente tales como "Cordillera Urgente", "Cordillera", "Cordillera Violenta" etc...
