(lifted and replaced) cancelled 186 reposted on arrival to Edinburgh with 1 d red tied by Dublin 186 duplex, bs H&KPACT/7 cds, an unusual conjunction of matching numerals of two countries and a rare mixed usage.

AUSTRALIA. 1870. Unfranked wrapper to Nantes, Franc, bearing Melbourne "Victoria" duplex datestamp. Annotated to go via Marseille, nethertheless went via London when red diamond-framed accountancy mark "GB/1F.62½c." was applied. Rated '10' decimes on arrival.
