Repeated strike at right and taxed on arrival with General Issues imperforate Postage Due 193/1908 10c. brown tied by FIANARAUTSOA cds in blue. Scarce cover.

✉ MADAGASCAR. 1902 (Dec 16). Registered cover to PARIS franked by 1896-99 5c. green pair, 10c. black on lilac, 20c. brick red on greenish all tied by neat ANDEVORANTE-MADAGASCAR cds's in blue with framed "R" alongside. Deleted CHARGÉ handstamp at left and arrival on reverse of a fine cover.

Reverse with Commissioner's cachet, Majunga cds and Paris (28/3) arrival cds. A fine and rare cover.

A scarce entire.

Envelope to New Orleans, United States bearing French General Colonies 25 cents blue (imperf pair) (Yvert 23) tied by MQE in dotted lozange with adjacent FORT DE FRANCE datestamp and boxed PD, charged "4" in manuscript and routed via the British Post Office with MARTINIQUE circular on reverse with NEW YORK/DUE 5 CTS applied on arrival in the U.S. Very fine item.

Cover to MARSEILLE franked by General Issues 1872 5c. green on greenish vertical pair and vertical strip of four 15c. bistre on yellowish in a vertical strip of four, all tied by MQE dotted lozenge. A fresh and very fine cover and a most unusual make-up of the 70 centime single rate. Signed Jamet, Lamy.
