The contents of the letter excuses a non-appearence before the tribunnal, ask for a further date and apparently needed to pay this by affixing fiscal stamps within the letter. A very interesting item.

COSPOLI to BUCAREST. 10 bani red stationery card surcharged 20 PARAS 20 cancelled POSTA ROMANA/COSPOLI with oval EXPRESS/COSPOLI-OSTENDA/CONSPOLI-CONSTANTA-BUCARESCI, this handscript probably used on Roumanian steamer serving between Conspoli and Constanta and its arrival was scheduled to coincide with the deparure of the Ostand Express. BUCURESTI cds. arrival on back.

Consular P.O. in Constantinople 20 pa. on 10 bani rose on buff Postal Stationery card, sent registered to GENEVA (Switzerland) up-rated with Turkey 1892 2pi. yellow-brown and imperforate EXPRESS D'ORIENT label printed in red (scarcer than the pink shade), all tied by GARE SIRKEDJI datestamp in black. Munich transit cds (July 15) and Geneva arrival of the following day at left. A RARE and most attractive usage.

Entire letter from ROSTOV to SYRA via Odessa, franked on despatch with Arms 1865 1k. yellow, 3k. pale green and vertical strip of three 10k. blue & brown tied by circular FRANCO in red. Odessa diamond transit at right and charged 65 lepta on arrival with overlapped 1862/67 5 lepta green, 20 l. blue and 40 lepta rosy mauve all tied by SYRA / 67 datestamps. Creasing typical for this correspondence, despite small imperfections an attractive entire.

Entire letter from ALEKSINAC with cyrillic straight line handstamp on black and NAPLACEN (Post Paid) handstamp below; mailed to SEBENICO (Dalmatia) via Austrian P.O. with fine 27 NOV/BELGRAD handstamp on black (manuscript 12 kreuzer charge). Thence via Quarantine Station at SEMLIN with NETTO DI FUORA E DI DENTRO handstamp on reverse and red wax seals of disinfection. AN EXTREMELY RARE and fine entire. Cert. J. VELICKOVIC.

✉ SERBIA. 1853 (Oct.). Cover to CSALMA (Hungary) with despatch handstamp of cyrillic SHABAZ in black an NAPLACEN (Post Paid) in black; thence via Serbian P. O. in BELGRADE with straight line handstamp (Kardosch 4/III) in black and OKT alongside. Passed to Austrian P. O. with BELGRAD/4 NOV. in black and thence via Semlin to Csalma with arrival (Nov 6) below. A fine and scarce cover. Cert. J. VELICKOVIC.

✉ SERBIA. 1869 (22 Jan.). Complete Printed Matter entire from BELGRADE to SARAJEVO via Semlin and Brood; franked by single 1867 2 kr. yellow tied by bold BELGRAD cds in black (Muller 5115a). Reverse with SEMLIN cds. and two line dated BROOD handstamp. A great rarity, especially so from Serbia. Cert. FERCHENBAUER.

✉ SERBIA. 1875 (20 Aug.). DANUBE STEAM NAVIGATION COMPANY. Official printed cover from the DDSG Offices in BELGRADE with endorsement "Porofrei" at lower left corner, via Zimony (22/8) and addressed to NAGY BECSKEREK (24/8) with black cds's of each and superb strike of DDSG Roman dated BELGRAD/21/VIII cds. in blue on reverse (Tchilinghirian fig. 670). An outstanding strike of this rare marking in excellent quality. Cert. PUSCHMANN.
