Obverse with superb JAMAICA / PAID datestamp in red (May 23) and endorsed '1/2d.' in red manuscript. Framed London tombstone arrival in red (June 20) and the entire forwarded outside the Mails to Reverend John Clarke in Fernando Poo. RARE and very fine entire.

✉ MALTA. 1814 (Nov. 19). SPANISH POST OFFICE (General Post Office in all the Middle East). MALTA to MADRID. Cover with original contents sent from the General Spanish Consul in Malta to the Duke of San Carlos (General Supervisor of the Spanish Post). Very interesting text, includes the Post accounts of the Middle East courier (years 1812 to 1814) and a rare manuscript Bill of Exchange of 200.000 Reales de vellón, drawn against the Supervisor of the Post Office. Extraordinary document of Postal History in very good condition.

✉ MALTA. 1832. MALTA to GLASGOW. Entire letter with fair MALTA arc and black GIBRALTAR arc strucks, charged "18/6"and "1 1/2 oz" (six rates). Disinfection by immersion in vinegar. RARE marks combination.

✉ MALTA. 1838. Stampless envelope addressed to PARIS written from "La Hauteur de Stromboli" at Malta with manuscript "MALTA" and boxed PAQUEBOTS DE LA MEDITERANEE and charged "20" on arrival in manuscript. Very rare item.

✉ MALTA. 1876. Cover to LIVORNO (Italy) franked 1/2d. SM, plate 6, and 2d. NC, plate 14 tied Malta code A25 duplex, reverse with Siracusa transit and arrival cancel.

✉ MAURICIO. 1802 (November 21). PORT N. E. ISLE DE FRANCE to BORDEAUX. Entire letter with COLONIES PAR/L'ORIENT entry mark (salles 58), rated "9" decimes.

✉ MAURICIO. 1806 (April 6). Entire letter from 'Ile de France' to Rennes, France landed in Spain with red straight line 'Vizcaya'; two line 'Espagne/Par Bayonne' in black and reverse with Rennes arrival in black. A rare entire from Mauritius and a most unusual route through Spain to France.

✉ MAURICIO. Sg. 43 (2). 1860. MAURITIUS to FRANCE. Folded letter franked wit two 2 d. blue stamps, short margins but very fresh colour, taxed "16" decimes on arrival on back crown Mauritius cds transits and arrival. Ex. H. Toaspern collection.

✉ MAURICIO. 1861. BOMBAY to MAURITIUS. Entire letter rated "6d" showing two strikes SHIP LETTER, endorsed "pr. Alwynton". Very fine and rare in this condition.

✉ MAURICIO. 1867 (Sept. 18). Cover and complete contents written from PORT LOUIS, MAURICE, (ANCIENNE FORT DE FRANCE), sent unpaid to FRANCE and struck with fine circular COR. D.ARM / LIG.T.PAQ.FR.No.1 datestamp in black of the same day. Handstruck "30" due marking applied, with Paris (Oct 25) arrival on reverse of a charming and rare entire that displays well.
