✉ MARTINICA. 1893. Envelope to France bearing French Type Sage 30 cents brown (perforation cut) (Yvert 80) tied by FORT DE FRANCE double ring with octagonal French paquebot LIGNE D PAQ. FR. Nº1 datestamp in blue and ROUEN arrival on reverse. Very scarce usage of French stamps in the colonies.

Folded entire letter to "Le Capitaine du Port de Nice" endorsed at top "Service Sanitaire" sent by the Lieutenant of the Port of Monaco, struck with fair "Monaco-Principaute" cds in black, reverse with blue Official cachet "Principauté de Monaco - Marine" and same day Nice arrival cds. A rare and interesting Official usage.

Reverse with Paris arrival cds. Corner of envelope missing but an attractive first issue cover. Scott 5,7.

Stampless cover to FRANCE with NOUMEA despatch cds in black and large triangular PD-AFFRANCHI-EN NUMEREAUX-FAUTE DE-TIMBRES COLONIAUX cachet in black; red PAQ ANGL-MARSEILLE transit cds, and arrival on reverse dated April 11th at Chelles. Faults but scarce Provisional handstamp.

Cover with mixed issue franking of 10 c. black on lilac (slight fault at top) and Dubois 1881 15 c. blue, tied by Nouméa c.d.s. in black with another, fine strike alongside and red "MODANE A PARIS" c.d.s. (9.11) on front, arrival on reverse. A rare usage. Ceres 40, 51.

Triple-rate cover registered to Pontorson bearing 25 c. black on rose (single and strip three, one stamp with rounded corner) all tied by Nouméa c.d.s. in black, red octagonal "LIGNE T/PAQ.FR.NO 6" on front; carried by paquebot 'Salazie'. A fine cover with full original contents.

✉ TAHITI. 1825 (Feb 5). Very early entire letter to London from Emeo (Moorea Islands) written by a Missionary, carried outside the Mails until arrival in the UK with oval London time marking in red (June 22) and framed 'T.P.. Lombard Street' and corresponding '2' (pence) rate to pay. An exceptional and extremely early entire that opens well for Exhibit display, journey time 137 days.

✉ TAHITI. 1870 (June 8). Entire letter written in Tahitian mailed to PAPEETE, datelined "Putuihara 27 no Epesesa 1870", struck on front with fine impression of TAITI (OCEANIE)-PAPEETE cds in black. Extremely rare entire.

Reverse with seven further datestamps including BÔNE (Nov. 16 and 20) and very fine (and rare) LA GOULETTE cds (Nov 17), then returned to Paris (Nov. 25). A most unusual cover.
