Entire letter to London from Raiatea Island with framed 'SHIP LETTER' in black on reverse and London (Nov 25) arrival cds alongside; fine 'Paid Ship Letter - Sydney' oval on front in red (July 25) and various manuscript rates. A very fine and scarce entire, journey time 224 days.

Envelope and long letter written from PAPEETE to COGNAC endorsed "voie de Panama & d'Angleterre" carried on that route and struck in London (May 2) with red transit cds and framed GB / 2F 87 5/10c. Accountancy handstamp in black. Charged 12 decimes due on arrival. A fine and rare entire.
