✉ BIRMANIA. 1935. SITKWIN (Burma) to SEREMBAN (Negri Sembilan, Malaya). Envelope sent with two 1 anna brown and grey stamps. Taxed in Burma with T/C/10 mark and in arrival with F.M.S. 4 cents. green stamp. The cover is redirected to KARAIKUDI (India) taxed on arrival with FOREIGN POSTAGE/ONE ANNA mark. Rare double postage due.

✉ CANADA. 1853 (July 9). Cover to BELLEVILLE, Canada West franked by imperforate 1851 6 d. violet grey cancelled, but not tied by, concentric ring obliterator in black. MONTREAL red cds of despatch below and BELLEVILLE arrival in blue on reverse. A rare stamp on letter. Scott 2b.

✉ CANADA. 1862 (May 22). Registered cover to SHARON via Toronto, bearing perf 1859 1 c. rose pair and Beaver 5 c. vermilion vertical pair tied by MONTREAL duplexes. Straight line REGISTERED handstamp above and reverse with SHARON arrival cds. Faults on the 1 c. adhesives but a scarce franking. Scott 14, 15.

✉ CANADA. Ed. . 1867. ´A93´ S.S. JAVA (Cunard). Partly clear numeral in oval on Great Britain 1 p. red tied by gum staining on pink cover to BRIGHTON, England, concessionary rate with proper endorsement ´From William Lintott, Steward, HMS Phoebe, Halifax´ Brighton backstamp (Oct. 19,1867), edges frayed and torn, backflap removed - modest restoration could significantly improve appearance- Fine and extremely rare ´A93´ mail boat numeral on a seaman´s concessionary rate cover, carried on the S.S. Java on her 16th. transatlantic round trip.

Entire letter to Genoa with superb strike of three line dated 'GIBRALTAR/SHIP LETTER' in blue (Day before Month in date, Type I) on despatch with manuscript '8' (pence) prepaid in red for double rate. Red 'Via/Di Mare/(E)' applied on arrival and manuscript charge of “30” centesemi to pay.
