✉ NORUEGA. 1883 (Dec 15). Entire letter at Printed Matter rate to Viana, Portugal franked by Posthorn 1877-78 5 ore blue tied by Bergen cds. Viana Do Castelo arrival on reverse. A scarce reduced rate franking. Scott 24.

✉ NORUEGA. 1904 (Aug 18). Colour postcard of Smeerenburg to Bergen, sent registered with Posthorn 10ö. carmine and 20ö. blue tied by "Hammerfest" cds's and by registration cachet. Violet 'Nordliches Eismer-80º Nordbreite" cachet at left and obverse of card with "Polar Post" Local 10ö. blue tied by same cachet in violet. Scarce and very attractive card.

✉ NORUEGA. 1909. Postcard of NAERODALEN franked with NORWAY Post horn 2 ö. brown tied GUDDUNGEN cds, reverse with Osterreicher Lloyd ´Thalia´ Spitzbergen perforated label in red cancelled SPITZBERGEN and two line CAMP WELLAMN/DANE´S ISLAND, SPITZBERGEN cachet in black. Scarce and unusual item.

Scarce and unusual item.

Military mail envelope endorsed SECTOR DU D.F.P DU PORT SAID S.P. 601a with military cachet DETACHMENT FRANCAISE DE PALESTINE/LE VAGUMESTRE in violet the envelope is routed via Port Said with CORR D'ARMEES PORT SAID double ring. This cover was recovered from the sea of Marseille the vessel having been torpedoed on route from Port Said and the cachet BATEAU NAUFRAGE MARSEILLE applied. A rare and interesting cover from the French military detachment.

✉ PANAMA. 1878 (Sept 15). Cover from Palmira to New York franked by Colombia 1876-80 imperforate 10c. pale brown tied by 'PANAMA' single cicle datestamp of British P.O. (Sept 23). Fine strike of 'New York/Due 5 Cents' duplex of arrival (Oct 8) in black. A scarce and very attractive cover. BPA certificate (1990).

Cover from British Vice-Consul in COLON with blue cachet at left and on reverse, franked by USA Taylor 1879 5c. blue, two horizontal pairs, all tied in transit by NEW YORK /1 duplexes in black (May 20). London / Paid arrival cds on front (May 31) in red. Some envelope faults but scarce.

✉ PANAMA. 1881 (23 Febrero). Sobre dirigido a FRANCIA. Marca marítima francesa COR. D. ARM./LIG. D. PAQ. FR. Nº 3 (Salles 1519) aplicada en la escala de COLON (Panama) en el buque "Colombie". Tasada a la llegada con "30", al dorso llegada a París (21-Mar). Sobre levemente reducido al dorso. MUY RARO.
