Reverse with HAMBURG DANISH P.O. transit (Sept 6) and Stockholm arrival. Opens well for display. A scarce cover.

SUECIA. 1877. Cover franked with the double-print variety of the 20ö vermillion (Facit 23), prepaying the GPU letter rate to Spain, and tied by GOTEBORG cds. Front shows blue ALLEMAGNE/ERQ.PARIS entry marking, and reverse bears JEREZ DE LA FRONTERA arrival datestamp. A rare stamp on a very fine cover to an unusual destination.
