Destination mail envelope to CARACAS (Venezuela) bearing Koban, 5 sen blue (perf. 8 1/2) (SG 115); 5 sen blue (perf. 13) (SG 115) tied by cork cancels with adjacent YOKOHAMA POST thimble cds (pre-paying the U.P.U. rate) routed via San Francisco with transit on reverse. Very rare mixed franking and very rare destination.

PACKET c.d.s. of 29 May, arrival datestamp on reverse; the envelope slightly foreshortened at right, otherwise fine and extremely rare.

A generally fine group.
