✉ ARGENTINA. 1870. BUENOS AIRES a BRISTOL (Gran Bretaña). Sobre circulado con sellos británicos de 3 d. rosa (margen izquierdo cortado a tijera) y 9 d. bistre, mat. de la B.P.O. B-32 al dorso fechador de Buenos Aires y llegada al dorso. Pequeña rotura en el sobre y falta una pequeña parte de la solapa del dorso. Muy raro el sello de 9 d. bistre en carta (SG. Z6, Z20). Ex. "B" en un rombo, circulada en buque mercante y redirigida en Londres con sellos de 4 d. naranja y 1 sh. verde, mat. ovalado con cifra "10" del "Foreign Branch". MAGNÍFICA.

Fechadores en el frente de ROSARIO y BUENOS AIRES y tasada a la llegada con 2 liras pagados con sellos de 20 cts. y 60 cts. (3). Defectos en el sobre pero muy rara carta procedente del interior.

✉ ARGENTINA. 1927 (30 Noviembre). BUENOS AIRES a RIO DE JANEIRO. PRIMER VUELO realizado el 3 de Diciembre por los pilotos franceses COSTES y LE BRIX, al dorso fechador de llegada a Río de Janeiro del 5 de Diciembre. RARÍSIMO, solo 10 cartas voladas. (Mu. 27).

Entire letter to CHÊNE (near Geneva Switzerland) franked by 1850-54 Machine paper 3kr. red and 6kr. brown (2) all with four margins, tied by GRAZ cds's in black. Reverse with Basel transit and Chêne arrival cds (22/9). A fine and very rare entire. Signed Ferchenbauer.

Cover from TRIESTE to SYROS, Greece franked by 1867 5 kr. red and 10 kr. blue tied by oval TRIESTE datestamp of despatch in black (June 3), insufficiently prepaid 5 Kreuzer, taxed on arrival in Syros with 1868, 5 l. green on blue and 40 l. lilac on blue tied by SYROS cds (May 26, Julian) in black. Erroneously taxed at 45 lepta as prepaid 15 kr. = 45 lepta, thus the amount due was only 25 lepta.

Cover carried at 23 soldi rate from BEIRUT to FLORENCE, three colour 1867 issue franking of 3 s. green, 5 s. rose and 15 s. brown all tied by BERUTTI cds's. Reverse with BAIRUT CONSOL D'ITALIA handstamp (similar to a Consegna marking) and LLOYD AGENZIE-SMIME cds in black opened for better display. Scott 2,3,5.

✉ LEVANTE: CORREO AUSTRIACO. 1885 (January). Letter franked with strip of three 10Kr. Arms issue (1883), prepaying the 30Kr. letter rate to SIAM, prior to its entry into the UPU. Stamps tied by TRIEST cds., and reverse bears Napoli transit and red SINGAPORE/PAID datestamp. A very fine and scarce pre-UPU franking to a most uncommon destination.

✉ BOLIVIA. 1877. LA CHIMBA (Bolivia) to FRANCE. CORREOS DE LA CHIMBA/BOLIVIA negative blue ship illustrated handstamp, Department of Litoral. Two strikes of the blue ship marking accompanied by a variety of matching blue handstamps including ADMON DE CORREOS/DE/LA CHIMBA three-line handstamp, straight line FRANCA and T/170 rate marking, carried to Lima (Peru) with that Post Office's transit and turned over to the British Post Office at Callao with small CALLAO/JU 28 77 c.d.s. on reverse. Also London transit on the reverse and Calais entry c.d.s., backstamped Paris, very fine; an attractive and rare combination of the Bolivian Post Office featuring this lovely ship illustrated postmark and the British Postal Agency.

Cover from RIO DE JANEIRO endorsed 'per Polygon' sent unpaid to BASEL (Switzerland) via Hamburg, outside the Mails to and struck on front with two line HAMBURG/ 15 APR in black. Reverse with Forwarding Agent manuscript notation 'Hamburg 15/4 1833 E Schincker' and Basel arrival cds (April 23). Various manuscript rates, a fine and scarce cover.
