Faults but scarce Provisional handstamp.

Cover with mixed issue franking of 10 c. black on lilac (slight fault at top) and Dubois 1881 15 c. blue, tied by Nouméa c.d.s. in black with another, fine strike alongside and red "MODANE A PARIS" c.d.s. (9.11) on front, arrival on reverse. A rare usage. Ceres 40, 51.

Cover to PARIS carried at Military Concession rate bearing diagonally surcharged 1892 Dubois 15c. blue tied by NOUMEA cds in black with repeated strike over "Service de Santé" cachet at left. Circular CORR. D'ARMEES / PAQ. FR. T. No. 3. Paquebot datestamp in red at left. A fine and very scarce franking. Ceres 26.

✉ NUEVA CALEDONIA. 1904 (Dec 20). 15c. blue & red on buff postal stationery letter-card, used example mailed from NOUMEA to REIMS (France). Underpaid and taxed with triangular 'T' marking. French Paquebot Ligne T / Paq. Fr. No. 3 in black (Dec 22) and, on arrival taxed with Postage Due 5c. pale blue and 15c. black (Jan 31, 1905). Dues off edge of card but attractive and scarce.

Entire letter written from Raiatea Island to London, carried by British Ship with fine strike of framed 'DEAL - SHIP LETTER' in black on front; charged "8d". due in manuscript. London arrival cds (May 17) on reverse in red. A very fine and rare entire, journey time 111 days.

✉ TAHITI. 1852. PAPETE a BORDEAUX. Carta completa circulada vía VALPARAISO (fechador de la B.P.O. al dorso ) y PANAMA. Tasada a la llegada con "21" décimas. MUY RARA.

✉ TAHITI. 1893 (April 13). Cover to Le Havre franked by 1893 surcharged "Tahiti" on 15c. blue (Scott 22) and Oceanic Settlements 20c. green on red, neatly tied by 'Papeete/Taiti' cds's in black. Reverse with Le Havre arrival cds (May 31). Scarce and fine cover.

✉ TAHITI. 1893 (Sept 8). Cover to Nancy at concessionary Soldier's Rate, franked by diagonally surcharged (reading up to right) 1893 15c. blue tied by octagonal 'CORR. D'ARMEES-PAPEETE' in black with repeated strike alongside. Paris transit on front (Oct 26) and Nancy arrival on reverse of a fine and rare cover. Certificate SISMONDO. Ceres 12. Scott 10.

✉ TAHITI. Yv. 12 (2) + 24 (3). 1893. PAPEETE to NOUMEA. 15 cts. blue pair and strip of three of two different issues with PAPEETE/TAHITI cancel. The envelope is somewat reduced at right due to roungh opening, the stamps are in perfect condition. Cert. S. SISMONDO.

✉ TAHITI. 1899. Cover with contens, datalined HIKUERU small island (only 5,11 km2) located 700 km. east of Tahiti send with 10 cts. black and blue stamp (defects in origen) to TAIOHAE cancelled on arrival. A very rare cover probably the earliest known sent from this remote location of the French Polinesia.

✉ TAHITI. 1911. MAKATEA to YOKOHAMA (Japan). 25 cts. blue and red with manuscript cancel MAKATEA and PAPEETE cds (cancel). Makatea, Japanese Camp. the first group of Japanese workers arrived in 1911. RARE.

Beauvais arrival (Apr 29) also on front of pretty cover. Scott 12,14,16,19.

✉ ALEMANIA ANTIGUOS ESTADOS: BADEN. 1866. 3Kr pale rose on buff stationery envelope used to PARIS franked additionally with perf 10 6Kr ultramarine tied by numeral "8" and red French entry mark. BADEN cds below and HEIDELBERG-BASEL TPO on reverse. Scott 22.
