Front shows red framed PD handstamp plus PRUSSE-FORBACH/AMB.F French entry marking, while reverse bears PARIS A BESANCON ambulant and SALINS arrival cds. A very fine and scarce mixed issue franking.

(15 c.) rate to the UNITED STATES under the Bremen treaty. Stamps tied by blue BERLIN P.E.No.12 cds, and front shows blue manuscript ´f4 1/2´ Sgr. credit plus red HAMBURG PACKET/PAID cds with integral ´3´ cents credit to the U.S. Reverse bears additional HAMBURG transit. A very fine and colorful transatlantic cover, carried by the HAPAG steamship Germania.
