Envuelta (solo la parte anterior y posterior sin las solapas laterales) circulada con sello de 6 cu. negro, tipo II posición 15, mat. araña. Circulada a Francia fuera de convenio, fechador de entrada de S. Juan de Luz y tasas de "8" y "10" décimas. Dos erosiones de papel en el anverso sin importancia. EXCEPCIONAL CARTA atravesando la frontera con Francia dos veces. ÚNICA CONOCIDA. Cert. GRAUS. 6 cu. black, type II position 15, tied by spider handstamp to cover, no side flaps, used from CASTILLA LA VIEJA to SAN SEBASTIAN and readdressed to BAYONNE (France) and readdressed a second time, back to MADRID. Mail to foreign destinations, under the 1849 decree, was to be sent unpaid. The cover bears S. Juan transit and both "8" and "10" décime charges.
