✉ INDIA INGLESA. 1898 (May 9). Linen-lined cover from BUSHIRE to COLCHESTER, Winch Brothers correspondence, endorsed on face "Registered. Ackdue. Via Bombay & Brindisi", franked on reverse at 9 a. by India 1882-90 1 a. brown-purple vertical pair, 2 a. blue and 1892-95 2 a. 6 p. yellow-green vertical pair, tied by individual mostly fine strikes of type Z12 ("C32") small BUSHIRE squared circle (four bars at corners). On face, fine BUSHIRE registration cachet and purple circular "AR", with LONDON transit ds (3 Ju 98) below, and Colchester arrival backstamp (4 J(U) 98). Trivial marks on face but a very fine three-colour franking, with red wax seals.
