✉ CUBA. 1853. PINAR DEL RIO a LA HABANA. Fechador PINAR D RIO/ISLA DE CUBA y FRANCO general, ambos en azul. A la llegada, fechador de LA HABANA y FRANCO refrendando lo anterior. Muy interesante carta, muy raro el uso de las marcas FRANCO en origen y destino a la vez. MUY RARA.

✉ CUBA. 1858. HABANA a LIVERPOLL. Carta completa, manuscrito ´B y First Direct Steamar´, tasada con 20 ctvos., circulada vía U.S.A. Al dorso marca lineal ART-2 (Robertson M 11, no reseñada en Van der Linden), en el frente fechador de llegada a Liverpool y tasa de ´2/5´. Rarísima, sólo dos cartas conocidas.

✉ COLONIAS ESPAÑOLAS: CUBA. 1871. Stampless envelope written from Havana, charged with handstruck 4, routed via New York with NEW YORK BR TRANSIT datestamp, sent via London on the ´SS. City of Brooklyn´ with boxed ANGLO-FRENCH accountancy GB/2F, French entry cachet and charged with handstruck ´12´ on arrival in Paris. Very fine.

✉ CUBA. 1872 (Jan 11). Entire letter from CARDENAS to MONTREAL (Canada) with sender´s commercial cachet at lower left; struck with handstamp ´10´ and PHILADELPHIA cds of entry (Jan 24) and smudged STEAMSHIP-DUE-10. Reverse with Montreal arrival cds. A scarce destination for Cuban mail of this period.

✉ CUBA. 1899 (Feb 14). Telegram envelope endorsed ´Soldier´s Letter´ at upper left franked by 1899 2½c. de peso on USA 2c. red tied by neat ´Correos/Habana´ cds in black. Washington arrival on reverse. Slight envelope tears on reverse but a rare usage. Scott 223.
