Entire letter from ALEKSINAC with cyrillic straight line handstamp on black and NAPLACEN (Post Paid) handstamp below; mailed to SEBENICO (Dalmatia) via Austrian P.O. with fine 27 NOV/BELGRAD handstamp on black (manuscript 12 kreuzer charge). Thence via Quarantine Station at SEMLIN with NETTO DI FUORA E DI DENTRO handstamp on reverse and red wax seals of disinfection. AN EXTREMELY RARE and fine entire. Cert. J. VELICKOVIC.

✉ SERBIA. 1853 (Oct.). Cover to CSALMA (Hungary) with despatch handstamp of cyrillic SHABAZ in black an NAPLACEN (Post Paid) in black; thence via Serbian P. O. in BELGRADE with straight line handstamp (Kardosch 4/III) in black and OKT alongside. Passed to Austrian P. O. with BELGRAD/4 NOV. in black and thence via Semlin to Csalma with arrival (Nov 6) below. A fine and scarce cover. Cert. J. VELICKOVIC.

Printed cover from BELGRADE to RAHOVA, franked by 1868 10 kr. green (Type I) tied by good strike of extremely rare DDSG oval handstamp K.K.PR.1TE.D.DAMPFSCHIFFAHRT-AGENTIE-BELGRAD in blue (Tchilinghirian fig. 667b). A VERY RARE and fine cover. Cert. PUSCHMANN.

Mi. 9Bc. 1869. 1 pa. pale-olive unused imperforate, with full original gum, good margins all-round and typical shade showing plate-flaw "dot and dash" after PARA (corresponding to plate position 23 of the setting of the perforate issue) and "break in lower frame-line", two horizontal slight paper folds, probably in paper before printing. According to certificate of Prof. Velickovic (1997) "one of the finest of the 10-12 recorded unused examples" and unique with described printing flaws. Michel 5.000€.

Entire letter franked with two single BELGRADE PRINTING 10 pa. ochre and VIENNA PRINTING 40 pa. blue, cancelled by boxed NAPLACENO and PREPORUCENO. An outstanding mixed franking Vienna and Belgrade printings. UNIQUE KNOWN. Cert. V. KARDOSCH and J. VELICKOVIC.

✉ SERBIA. Mi. 5y, 6x (2). 1869 (31 March). VALJEVO to BELGRADE. 20 pa. yellowish rose ordinary paper and pair of 40 pa. ultramarine "pelure" paper, tied by VALJEVO cds. and lineal PREPORUC. Outstanding piece. The only mixed franking known with the stamp on yellowish paper. Cert. J. VELICJOVIC.

ZAJECARSKE to BELGRADE. 10 pa. brown perf. 9 1/2 two horizontal pairs, tied by boxed PREPORUCENO and 20 pa. blue perf. 9 1/2 x 12, tied by ZAJECARSKE all in blue. BEOGRAD arrival cds. on reverse. Official printed cover from the DDSG Offices in BELGRADE with endorsement "Porofrei" at lower left corner, via Zimony (22/8) and addressed to NAGY BECSKEREK (24/8) with black cds's of each and superb strike of DDSG Roman dated BELGRAD/21/VIII cds. in blue on reverse (Tchilinghirian fig. 670). An outstanding strike of this rare marking in excellent quality. Cert. PUSCHMANN.

✉ SUIZA. 1860 (Feb. 12). Registered cover from LAUSANNE to SHIRLEY (Southampton, UK) with unique franking of 1855-60 20 r. orange yellow, 40 r. green and very rare strip of three, 1 Fr. violet grey all tied by LAUSANNE cds's in black. Red SUISSE/PONTARLIER entry marking and scarce usage of FRANCE/Crown/REGISTERED handstamp alongside PAID/LONDON cds. On front (Febr 14th) both in red. Flap missing on reverse but a most exceptional cover for the specialist in these issues. Cert. KIMMEL. (Cat. SBK 25G, 26G, 27C).

✉ SUIZA. 1886. BERNA to CRETE (Nebraska U.S.A.). Postal Stationery card of 10rp. red redirected to OSAKA (Japan) with U.S. 2 cents brown stamp and redirected to BERNA (Switzerland) with Japan 3 sen yellow stamp. Some light folds but an spectacular and RARE mixed franking.

"Triumf" Besika Bay" and countersigned by Commanding Officer. Franked by Great Britain 1d. red (pl. 168) tied in transit by duplex MALTA / A 25. RARE and unusual cover. NOTE: The British Fleet arrived in Besika Bay, Constantinople following riots in late May 1876 and the replacement of the Grand Vizier, the Turks then put down rebellions in Bulgaria, Serbia and Montenegro. H.M.S. "Triumf" was the Flagship of the British Fleet in the Dardanelles.

✉ ESTADOS UNIDOS. 1855-61. LOT of 24 covers from NEW YORK to ITALY endorsed with diverse ships "Australian", "Asia", "Africa", "Arabia", "Persia"... of the Cunard Line (see www).

✉ ESTADOS UNIDOS. 1851. COLN (Prussia, Germany) to SAN FRANCISCO. Entire letter sent via Royal Mail Steam Packet West Indies, via Southampton, St. Thomas and Chagres (Panama). Delivered to the gold mines by Reynolds & Co. with 1$ express delivery fee (manuscript in front Collect 1,00). On reverse oval mark REYNOLDS AND CO. EXPRESS / SAN FRANCISCO / STOCKTON AND SONORA and NOT / PAID in blue. Some cover faults, but the markings are clear. EXTREMELY RARE cover from Germany to San Francisco, then by Reynolds and Co. to the gold mines. NOTE: Reynolds was a pioneering expressman in the southern mines. Beginning in January 1850 he connected with Todd and Bryan in Stockton and through them to San Francisco and with Adams and Co. to other parts of the U.S. and to Europe.Reynolds and Co. was dissolved in the fall of 1851, not long after this cover was delivered.
