Faults but scarce Provisional handstamp.

Cover with mixed issue franking of 10 c. black on lilac (slight fault at top) and Dubois 1881 15 c. blue, tied by Nouméa c.d.s. in black with another, fine strike alongside and red "MODANE A PARIS" c.d.s. (9.11) on front, arrival on reverse. A rare usage. Ceres 40, 51.

Circular CORR. D'ARMEES / PAQ. FR. T. No. 3. Paquebot datestamp in red at left. A fine and very scarce franking. Ceres 26.

✉ NUEVA CALEDONIA. 1904 (Dec 20). 15c. blue & red on buff postal stationery letter-card, used example mailed from NOUMEA to REIMS (France). Underpaid and taxed with triangular 'T' marking. French Paquebot Ligne T / Paq. Fr. No. 3 in black (Dec 22) and, on arrival taxed with Postage Due 5c. pale blue and 15c. black (Jan 31, 1905). Dues off edge of card but attractive and scarce.

D'ARMEES-PAPEETE' in black with repeated strike alongside. Paris transit on front (Oct 26) and Nancy arrival on reverse of a fine and rare cover. Certificate SISMONDO. Ceres 12. Scott 10.

Cover with contens, datalined HIKUERU small island (only 5,11 km2) located 700 km. east of Tahiti send with 10 cts. black and blue stamp (defects in origen) to TAIOHAE cancelled on arrival. A very rare cover probably the earliest known sent from this remote location of the French Polinesia.
