Carta completa circulada con sello de 9 kr. azul reexpedida a MESSINA con una pareja del 6 cr. azul, mat. de Livorno 9-En-58 que se repite sobre la carta, manuscrito"Vapori Postali Francesi" y llegada a Messina en el anverso. Muy rara combinación de franqueo. F. COLLA.

The outstanding and famous combination 3 kr. green postal envelope plus 1874/80, fine beard, 2 kr. yellow, 5 kr. red and 10 kr. blue, all cancelled Prag, 21 May 1883 to YOKOHAMA, Japan, arriving 7 July. The letter was re-addressed via San Francisco and New York to Vienna and 2 Japanese 1883 5 sen blue were added to pay the postage and cancelled in black with the cds. Of Yokohama 2 July 1663 above, arriving in Vienna 27 August, it was again re-addressed and posted from Hernals via Karolinenthal 29 August to PRAG, were it was eventually delivered to the addresse on the same day. Envelope to YOKOHAMA (26.8) via Hakodate (24.8) bearing 5 c. pale blue, tied by HONG KONG/C cds, with Japan Koban 5 s. on reverse applied as postage due and cancelled by framed native cancellation, with "T" in circle, native framed postage due and circular DUE (with "5" inserted in manuscript) h.s. alongside, central vertical fold crosses the Japan adhesive, fine usage.

✉ LUXEMBURGO. 1857 (July 28). Entire letter from BASCHARAGE to LUXEMBOURG franked by 1852 10 c. grey black, four margins, tied by BARRED obliterator in black. Scarce BASCHARAGE datestamp at right and framed "PD" above. Reverse with LUXEMBOURG arrival cds. Cert. R. GOEBEL.

✉ LUXEMBURGO. 1856 (Oct. 30). Cover from LUXEMBOURG to PARIS franked by remarkable and fine strip of four 1851 10 c. grey-black (Mi. 1d) tied by circular black grid cancellations. LUXEMBOURG cds and framed "PD" alongside. Cert. R. DEMUTH.

✉ LUXEMBURGO. 1852. 1 sgr. dark carmine rose, gorgeous deep rich highly distinctive shade, good to large margins, tiny nick in margin at top, tied by LUXEMBOURG cds to 1860 (31 Oct.) folded letter to Saarburg (1.11) via Trier (31.10). Very fine example of this rare shade (apparently only three cover known); rate 1 sgr. for the DPOV letter rate under 10 German miles. F. GOEBEL.

✉ LUXEMBURGO. 1876 (April 18). 6 c. violet on rose pink stationery card, a fine used example up-rated with extremely rare usage of 1867 single and pair rouletted 2 c. black tied by LUXEMBOURG cds's. Scott 14.

✉ MEXICO. 1851-57. Tres cartas circuladas a FRANCIA desde DURANGO y ZACATECAS (2) con el franqueo local hasta Veracruz pagado en metálico en origen.

✉ MEXICO. 1853 (4 Abril). VERACRUZ a LA HABANA. Marca lineal YNDIAS en azul y tasa de 3 reales probablemente estampados en Santiago de Cuba. Raro en este color.

✉ MEXICO. 1854. TAMPICO a VERACRUZ. Circulada por el Correo Británico, marca PAID/AT/TAMPICO en rojo y tarifa manuscrita "1". Leves erosiones del papel por oxidación de la tinta.

Marked at upper left "31" (grams) and charged 40 decimes due on receipt.
