MALAYA. Ed. . 1942. Cover to IPOH, Perak with 1942 Pahang overprinted 8 c. scarlet. (SG J241), tied by violet seriffed circular manuscript dated cancel of PAHANG/Sungei Siput/27.7.2602/YUBIN KYOKU. Black small censor chop at left on rare cover.

MALTA. 1837 (Dec. 19). Large part entire letter from SMYRNA to PARIS, endorsed at upper left "Malte" in manuscript, with reverse showing italic "Purifié de Marseille" in black and somewhat toasted for disinfection. Marseille transit cds (Jan. 6, 1838) on front and rated 10 decimes handstruck on arrival.

MALTA. 1839 (Feb. 17). Entire letter from MALTA to BARCELONA struck with DE FRANCIA handstamp with rate markings "4R 8ms." Reverse with March 1 arrival datestamp, all markings in blue. File fold but a rare entire.

MALTA. 1866 (Oct.). Entire from Holland, bearing red "AMSTERDAM" cds also PAYS-BAS/2 ERQUELINES cds. in blue, FR/2F 16C currency mark, on reverse has two Malta receiving marks. Very rare currency mark, not listed in Salles on cover from Holland.

PACKET¦ transit cds in red at lower left. On reverse, futher strike of despatch squared circle and arrival cds (NO 3 97). The centre of the Warri cancels only legible as albino impressions (as often!), most attractive.
