✉ GRECIA. 1869 (Feb 8). Cover from MARSEILLE to SYROS (Greece) sent stampless on French Paquebot with good strike of circular LIGNE X-PAQ.FR.No.5 datestamp in black; charged with "90 Lep" handstamp and 1862-67 2nd Athens 10l. orange on greenish and 80l. carmine applied and tied at Syros on arrival (Feb 1/13). An attractive and scarce entire. SG 19,22.

✉ GRECIA. Sg. 26+28. 1870 (Dec 3). Entire letter from MARSEILLE to ATHENS, mailed with circular LIGNE U-PAQ. FR. No.1 datestamp in blue, charged with handstruck "90" in blue and taxed with Large Hermes 1868 Cleaned Plates 10l. orange on bluish and 40l. rosy mauve on blue pair cancelled by Athens cds's. A scarce and attractive entire.

✉ GRECIA. 1871 (Nov 5/Nov 17). Cover from Syra to Marseille bearing 1870 10l. red-orange on greenish, 20l. blue, 40l. salmon on greenish all tied by dotted "67" lozenge with Syros cds alongside. Marseille cds in red of entry also on front. Slight file folds but a pretty cover. Scott 29, 36, 37.

✉ GRECIA. 1901. Illustrated envelope sent registered to ALEXANDRIA (Egypt) franked on reverse with 1900 surcharged on perf. Small Hermes 25l. on 40l. purple and 50l. on 25l. blue tied by PIRAEUS cds's. Alexandria arrival cds at right and obverse with registration handstamp in black. A rare and most unusual cover. Scott 155,156.

✉ GRECIA: ISLAS JONICAS. 1826 (Nov. 18). PARGA (Greece) to MAKRIOTIKA (Pilaros, Cephalonia). Entire letter sent via Paxas with circle POSTA DELL'ISOLA DI PAXO. Hand written in front of the Post Office "FROM ALBANIA" indication of origen. At his time the City of Parga was part of the ottoman Empire along with Albania. A rare cover.
