✉ DINAMARCA. 1871(Sept 7th). Registered cover from Horsens to London, carried at 22 skilling rate and franked by 1870-71 2sk and five 4sk all tied by Horsens numeral cancellations in black, also struck by very scarce oval ´REGISTERED LONDON-FROM DENMARK´ datestamp in red (Sept 16th). Few small faults but a very scarce and attractive cover. Scott 16,18.

✉ DINAMARCA. 1881. Registered and Charged envelope to France bearing 8 ore red and grey (Yvert 24) and 16 ore brown and olive (3) (Yvert 26) tied by concentric ring cachet with KJOBENHAVEN datestamp with handstruck ANBEFALET and endorsed Charge with French entry cachet and GRASSE arrival on reverse. Very fine franking.

✉ DINAMARCA. Ed. . 1885. Cover fron DENMARK, franked with single and pair of 4 ore grey and ultramarine (top margin cut), 12 ore grey and red, plus 16 ore grey and brown (Sc 26, 29, 30), prepaying the double UPU letter rate to the United States. Stamps tied by NYBORG cds, and reverse shows NEW YORK/PAID ALL opera glass datestamp, scarce NEW YORK/TRANSIT cds, plus two BROOKLYN, NY arrival datestamps. A colorful transatlantic cover.

Cover to BENDIGO (Victoria, Australia) franked by 1885 10ö. carmine strip of three tied by COPENHAGEN cds's, struck on arrival in Bendigo (April 1, held until Oct 8) with framed UNCLAIMED/BENDIGO in black. Reverse with MELBOURNE RETURNED LETTER OFFICE cds in purple and front with NOT CALLED FOR bilingual cachet. A rare and appealing cover. Certificate NEILSEN. Afa 35.

Danish postal stationary card 5 ore green cancelled by KJOBENHAVEN datestamp, addressed to BULGARIA, underpaid with boxed instructional UTILSTRAEKKELIG/FRANKERET and circular TAX hand-stamp bearing Bulgaria postage due 10 st green (SG D125) tied by VARNA datestamp with adjacent AMBULANT SOPHIA-VARNA No 2 datestamp. Nice item of postage due mail.

Postal stationery from Dominican Republic Puerto Plata May 18, 1885 via Danish post Office at St. Thomas 25.5 and forwarded via the French Post Office at St. Thomas May 29 via St. Nazaire to heidelberg in Germany. Red French ST. THOMAS PAQ. FR. B. No 2 May 29, 1885 and carried to Europe by the Vera Cruz packet "Ville de Bordeaux" which left Vera Cruz May 19th and arrived in St. Nazaire June 12, 1885.

✉ REPUBLICA DOMINICANA. 1898 (Sept 4). 3c. deep blue postal stationery card used to LUBECK cancelled with date in manuscript and by German West India Line HESPERIA handstamp in purple, fine strike of AUS WESTINDIEN-P.HAMBURG DAMPFER-ÜBER CÖLN cds below. Lubeck arrival cds at left (Sept 23). Rare and very fine usage, only a few cards known to travel by German Paquebot.

Cover initially sent from GUAYAQUIL to QUITO franked with 1881 5 c. blue tied by blue GUAYAQUIL/FRANCA datestamp, then forwarded to Ambato, the postage being paid by additional 5 c. blue (trimmed by scissors on two sides) tied by QUITO/FRANCA cds in red. A very scarce usage. Ex Funkhouser.
