Cover franked by 1862 10c. bistre (scissors cut) tied by Paris Star in red with red cds (May 27) alongside. A delightful and rare item. Ceres 21.

✉ CHINA. 1875. Sailor's Concessionary rate cover endorsed "From N. Skinner, Seaman, HMS Victor Emanuel, Hong Kong, China" at top, countersigned at lower left by Commanding Officer and franked for concession with Great Britain 1d. red pl. 120 tied in black. Reverse with HONG KONG cds of despatch (May 7). Stains and faults. A rare cover.

✉ CHINA. Sg. 38. 1897. Advertising envelope from AMOY to HUNGARY, franked by Hong Kong 1891 10c. purple on red tied by neat AMOY cds (April 17) in black, which also just ties perforated Vozims Bals label. Reverse with HONG KONG cds (April 20) and arrival cds alongside. An unusual cover.
