✉ ESTADOS UNIDOS. 1852 (Sept 26). Entire letter from NEW YORK to BORDEAUX (France) bearing 1851-57 3c. red-brown (2) imperforate cancelled in black; red NEW ORLEANS/LA despatch cds at left. Charged with handstruck '13' decime due mark in black on arrival. Reverse with London transit cds, and Bordeaux and Tarbes cds's (Oct 21). Scott 11.

✉ ESTADOS UNIDOS. 1858. Envelope to IRELAND bearing 12 cents black (2) (Scott 36) plate 1 tied by HUNTINGTON IND. datestamp sent on the steamer "Europa" via Liverpool, arrived too late for sorting and bagged direct to Dublin with AMERICA/PAID/DUBLIN datestamp in green (Robertson P1) and ENNISCORTHY arrival on reverse. Very fine item of transatlantic mail.

✉ ESTADOS UNIDOS. 1859 (Aug). 3c. red on orange postal stationery envelope used to FRANCE, up-rated with 1851-57 3c. red brown and 10c. green tied by manuscript 7-Okie and by octagonal ETATS UNIS/HAVRE datestamp (Sept). Framed red SHORT PAID at left and struck with "16" decimes charge marking in black on receipt (Sept 4). Some creasing but scarce.

Cover from PHILADELPHIA to WASHINGTON DC., franked by Blood's Penny Post (1c.) black on white paper tied by BLOOD'S PENNY POST / JUN 17-11 A.M.-PHILAD alongside 1857-61 3c. dull red tied by grid cancellation with Philadelphia cds at right (June 17). The envelope with small faults but a scarce combination usage.

✉ ESTADOS UNIDOS. 1866 (Aug 25). Cover from Glasgow to Worcester, Mass, USA endorsed at top ´per Scotia via Cork and New York´franked by GB 6d mauve pl.5 pair tied by Glasgow duplexes. Red ´N.York Br.Pkt Paid´ cds on front. On arrival the cover was forwarded back to New York with USA 3c adhesive tied by Worcester target handstamp in black. Appealing and unusual cover. The lateral wraps are missing.

JUL. 17, 1866 double-circle datestamp, on orange cover to PRUSSIA red N.YORK AM. PKT. PAID 7 JUL, 22 credit datestamp, blue boxed AACHEN FRANCO handstamp, one 3c. vertical crease, appears. Fine.

Incorrectly dated (DEC.) red ETATS-UNIS/PAQ. FR. H Nº 4 overstruck with anchor in diamond of dots maritime cancel, second strike dated with the correct NOV. Fine and unusual use.

London transit cds in red (June 27) on reverse and London obliterator '5' over-striking the erroneous London/Paid cds on front. Taxed on arrival in Cadiz with '8' Reales due handstamp in red. A rare and fine pair on a scarce cover.

NEW YORK/24 datestamp of despatch (Feb. 4) in red and reverse with Cadiz cds. A splendid and SCARCE three colour franking.

Fine large part Wfco. 2 applied at Aachen in transit in red with Cadiz arrival cds (Dec 30) in black. A charming and rare entire.
