✉ ESTADOS UNIDOS. 1849. NEW YORK to DRESDEN (Saxony). Via GB and Ostende (Belgium). Endorsed "P. Hibemia". On back lineal strike AMERICA PER ENGLAND. (Vand der Linden 112).

✉ ESPAÑA. 1850 (December 4). CINCINNATI to BERNBERG (Prusia). Endorsed "Prusian closed mail via London and Ostende". Paid 30 cts. to destination with red FRANCO and N.Y. cds.

✉ ESTADOS UNIDOS. 1851. 1c. deep blue imperforate, three fine single examples (Types II and III) used on cover to WALCOTTVILLE (Conn.) tied by NEW YORK (Oct 26) cds's in black. A fine and very rare usage. Scott 7,8.

✉ ESTADOS UNIDOS. 1852 (Sept 26). Entire letter from NEW YORK to BORDEAUX (France) bearing 1851-57 3c. red-brown (2) imperforate cancelled in black; red NEW ORLEANS/LA despatch cds at left. Charged with handstruck '13' decime due mark in black on arrival. Reverse with London transit cds, and Bordeaux and Tarbes cds's (Oct 21). Scott 11.

✉ ESTADOS UNIDOS. (1857-63 CA.)(July 27). Cover to Washington DC franked by 1857 3c. tied by fine strike of Six Pointed Star cancellation in black with Chicopee/Mass cds below. Rare. Scott 26.

✉ ESTADOS UNIDOS. Sc. 32 (2). 1858. SACRAMENTO (California) to ISLAY (Perú). Red 3 cts. envelope uprated with two 10 cts. green (2) making 23 cents. (one cent in excess). On arrival a faint incomplete FRANCA in black struck here. Fine and rare franking.

Envelope to IRELAND bearing 12 cents black (2) (Scott 36) plate 1 tied by HUNTINGTON IND. datestamp sent on the steamer "Europa" via Liverpool, arrived too late for sorting and bagged direct to Dublin with AMERICA/PAID/DUBLIN datestamp in green (Robertson P1) and ENNISCORTHY arrival on reverse. Very fine item of transatlantic mail.

✉ ESTADOS UNIDOS. 1859 (Aug). 3c. red on orange postal stationery envelope used to FRANCE, up-rated with 1851-57 3c. red brown and 10c. green tied by manuscript 7-Okie and by octagonal ETATS UNIS/HAVRE datestamp (Sept). Framed red SHORT PAID at left and struck with "16" decimes charge marking in black on receipt (Sept 4). Some creasing but scarce.

✉ ESTADOS UNIDOS. Ed. . 1859(Sept 14). Cover to Enfield, England franked by 1857 12c black in a rare block of four (two stamps minor faults), tied by red obliterators with ´N.York-Br.Pkt-38´ cds at left and London-Paid arrival (Sept 26) alongside. Remarkable and rare usage. Scott 36.

Cover from PHILADELPHIA to WASHINGTON DC., franked by Blood's Penny Post (1c.) black on white paper tied by BLOOD'S PENNY POST / JUN 17-11 A.M.-PHILAD alongside 1857-61 3c. dull red tied by grid cancellation with Philadelphia cds at right (June 17). The envelope with small faults but a scarce combination usage.

✉ ESTADOS UNIDOS. 1866 (Aug 25). Cover from Glasgow to Worcester, Mass, USA endorsed at top ´per Scotia via Cork and New York´franked by GB 6d mauve pl.5 pair tied by Glasgow duplexes. Red ´N.York Br.Pkt Paid´ cds on front. On arrival the cover was forwarded back to New York with USA 3c adhesive tied by Worcester target handstamp in black. Appealing and unusual cover. The lateral wraps are missing.

JUL. 17, 1866 double-circle datestamp, on orange cover to PRUSSIA red N.YORK AM. PKT. PAID 7 JUL, 22 credit datestamp, blue boxed AACHEN FRANCO handstamp, one 3c. vertical crease, appears. Fine.

Franked by 1861-62 3 c. rose and rare usage of 30 c. orange tied by black 'C' cork cancels with cds of despatch alongside. Red '28' and 'N. York Br. Pkt./Paid' (English share of rate) and London/Paid transit. Flap partly missing, a rare cover. Ex Scott Gallagher collection. Scott 65,71.

Incorrectly dated (DEC.) red ETATS-UNIS/PAQ. FR. H Nº 4 overstruck with anchor in diamond of dots maritime cancel, second strike dated with the correct NOV. Fine and unusual use.

Entire letter from NEW YORK to CADIZ (Spain) endorsed per steamer 'Cuba' at 24 cents rate franked by vertical pair of Washington 1867 12c. black (with grill) tied by cork cancels in black. London transit cds in red (June 27) on reverse and London obliterator '5' over-striking the erroneous London/Paid cds on front. Taxed on arrival in Cadiz with '8' Reales due handstamp in red. A rare and fine pair on a scarce cover.

✉ ESTADOS UNIDOS. 1868. NEW YORK to CÁDIZ (Spain). 10 cts. green (2) and 24 cts. lilac. According to the Philatelic Foundation Certificate the 24 cts. did not originate on this otherwise genuine cover. Sold "AS IS". Cert. PF'2014.

Entire letter from NEW YORK to CADIZ (Spain) endorsed per steamer 'Russia' at 24 cents rate franked by vertical pair of Washington 1867 12c. black (with grill) tied by CORK cancels in black. London transit cds in red (June 12) and taxed on arrival in Cadiz with '12' Reales due handstamp in red. A rare and fine pair on a SCARCE cover.

Cover and complete origina1 contents from New York to Paris franked by scarce usage of top marginal vertical pair of 1870 2c red brown tied by cork cancels and by Calais entry marking. Fine strike of ´GB-40c´ Anglo-French Accountancy marking in black and charged 5 decimes due on receipt. London transit on reverse (July 30) in red. Scott 146. Cert. PF´2002.

Octagonal 'Etats-Unis/Paq.Fr.H.No.3' in black (April 16) and charged 8 decimes due on receipt (April 27). A pretty cover. Scott 116.

Invoice from NEW YORK to CADIZ (Spain) endorsed per steamer "City of Anteverp" at 28 cents rate franked by Banknote 1870/71 2c. brown, 6c. rose red and pair of 10c. brown tied by CORK cancls in black and by London transit cds in red. NEW YORK/24 datestamp of despatch (Feb. 4) in red and reverse with Cadiz cds. A splendid and SCARCE three colour franking.

Mail via England' (carried on the 'Donau') at 12 cents rate franked by single Continental Banknote Co. 1873 12c. deep violet tied by barred Foreign Mail cancellation and by NEW YORK despatch cds in red. Fine large part Wfco. 2 applied at Aachen in transit in red with Cadiz arrival cds (Dec 30) in black. A charming and rare entire.

Cover sent registered from STILLWATER-MINN. to GRAUBRUNDEN (Switzerland); with three colour franking of 1873 3c. blue-green and pair of 10c. brown with 1875-79 Raylor 5c. blue all cancelled in black with despatch cds at left and framed CHARGEE in black. New York transit in red on front and reverse with Basel and Chur cds's.
