Cover from POINTE A PITRE to LIMA, Perú, franked by Eagle issue 1859-65 2 x 5 c. green, 10 c. bistre, 2 x 20 c. blue, 40 c. vermillon and 80 c. rose all tied by light black dotted lozenge and once in blue; superb strike of Crown PAID AT GUADALUPE in blue alongside, one ot two recorded in this colour, and BRITISH PO cds on reverse charge paid being 1 s 4 d in red manuscript. Cover then went to BRITISH PO'S in ST. THOMAS (APR 12) and PANAMA (APR 23) arriving at Lima on May 2nd. A remarkable five colour franking and exquisite cover. Ex. PANNETIER.

✉ AUSTRALIA. 1939 (July 22). GUINEA Airways Lockheed, VH-AAU, conducted a survey flight from ADELAIDE to DILI (Portuguese Timor) via Darwin and Koepang (Dutch East Indies), and unofficial mails were carried signed by the entire crew and passengers aboard the plane, including the Minister for Civil Aviation (the late Mr J. V. Fairbairn). Official mails were carried to Darwin. Capt. D. G. Cameron in command. VERY RARE, less than five covers known.

✉ BARBADOS. Sg. 27, 52. 1872. BARBADOS to PORTLAND (U.S.A.). Envelope franked with (4d.) lake perf. 14-16 and (1d.) blue perf. 14 1/2 each tied by BARBADOS cds. Manuscript "4" ship rate in red crayon and N.Y. STEAMSHIP / 10 applied on entry. Small opening tear but a charming cover.

✉ BERMUDAS. 1849 (July 16). SAINT GEORGE to TRINIDAD. Entire letter endorsed "Paid" and "pr. Steamer" in manuscript. Struck with very fine ST. GEORGES / BERMUDA in red with manuscript "4" (pence). Very fine and RARE, less of five covers recorded. (Gibbons 8.500 £). Ex George Ulrich and Hugh Wood.

✉ HONDURAS BRITANICA. 1931 (5 Diciembre). BELIZE to MERIDA (México). FIRST FLIGHT. 3 cts. (6), 2 cts. arrival on reverse. Very rare. Flight only 5 covers carried. (Mu. 15).

Complete letter with full text carried privately and entered to Canadian Mail with QUEBEC cds., perfectly struck SHIP LETTER / QUEBEC crown oval handstamp and rated 11 1/2. Front panel with minor piece of top right corner missing. Extremely fine strike of this ship letter handstamp, without doubt one of the finest strikes. Ex Steinhart.

✉ FALKLAND. Sg. 25, 30. 1896. Commercial cover to BRISTOL with late use of the steel obliterator. The cover was carried by the Kosmos ship MEMPHIS that left Stanley on 24 February 1896 for Tilbury Dock arriving there on 31 March 1896. The mail reached Bristol on the same day.
