The provisional cars were used only during 1892/1893, from the time of reduction of the foreign postal rate (from 1 1/2 annas to 1 anna), to the issue of the definitive 1 anna card. This is the only provisional 1 anna card recorded from NEPAL. It is the earliest known postal item from Nepal to the United States. Small faults. Ex HELLRIGL.
