✉ ITALIA. 1858 CA. Large part entire letter, slitted for disinfection, mailed from RAVENNA to CORFU via Ancona, with two line dated RAVENNA despatch in black, fine strike of scarce oval AGENZIA DEL LLOYD AUSTRIACO / ANCONA in blue and small CORFU datestamp of arrival in black (Nov 10).

✉ ITALIA. 1866. ROME to LYON. Entire letter franked by perforate 20 cts. blue French stamps with GRILL cancel and CORPS EXP. D'ITALIE/2e DIVISION cds. Very fine.

✉ ITALIA. 1870 (April 29). Entire letter to Venice franked by 6d. bright mauve, pl. 8 tied by London numeral '98' obliterator. Fully paid for the rate to Florence (May 2) and re-addressed to Venice with 1867 20c. pale blue tied by '12' numeral obliterator (applied over the red British 'PD' marking) with Venice arrival cds (May 5) on reverse. A remarkable and rare entire of great visual appeal. SG 109.

✉ ITALIA. 1871 (March 11). Cover from Altona to Turin/Italy franked by 1869 1gr. rose and 2gr. ultramarine, readdressed from Turin to Chambéry on arrival with 1863 40c. rose carmine tied by Torino cds (March 14). Age stains but rare franking. Scott 16,17.

✉ ITALIA. 1877. Superb small brown printed envelope "Auguri E Felicitazione" used to PARIS franked by 1863-77 5c. grey (printed matter rate-contained card), used from TREVI with cds at upper left of despatch. Delightful and extremely scarce. Scott 26.
