✉ TRINIDAD. 1806 (Aug 8). FRENCH OCCUPATION. Entire letter from TRINIDAD during the Napoleonic Wars to BRIGNOLLES, France datelined inside "Isle de Trinité, 8 Aout 1806" and struck on arrival with COLONIES PAR/BORDEAUX in black and charged 12 decimes due. A rare and interesting entire. Trinidad was awarded to Britain after the Treaty of Amiens at the end of the War.

Entire letter from Manchester to Carupano, Venezuela franked by 1874 1s green pl.10 tied by 498 numeral, thence via Southampton to TRINIDAD where forwarded with three line N.HARRIMAN & Co Agent´s marking displaying well in blue on reverse. A scarce and fine entire. SG 150.
