✉ AUSTRIA. 1871 (Nov 17). Entire letter from VIENNA to BARCELONA; franked by 1867 15kr. brown (2, one with perf. faults and one creased) tied by WIEN cds. Red framed 'P.D.' and mss. '20' in red crayon. BARCELONA arrival on reverse. An unusual destination at this date.

✉ AUSTRIA. Sc. 27, 28. (1872 CA.). Printed Matter rate cover front to MADRID (Spain) franked by 1867-74 2kr. yellow and 3kr. green tied by fine straight line POSTAMBULANCE No. 8 in black; magenta "P.D." alongside. Extremely rare and attractive piece, probably unique known to Spain.

Registered cover from KRAKAU (Poland) addressed "via Lvov, Brody" to RUSSIA franked by single 1867-74 25kr. deep lilac tied by KRAKAU-RAKÓM datestamp in black with superb strike of oval RECOMANDIRT-KRAKAU STADT in blue at right. Three red wax seals on reverse and arrival cds's on back and front of an exceptionally attractive cover. Signed Ferchenbauer.

✉ AUSTRIA. 1879 (June 30). 2kr. brown stationery card used from TRIESTE to RAVENNA; underpaid and struck with T mark in black. Manuscript "15 cmi." and duly charged with Italian Postage Due 1870 5c. and 10c. on arrival (July 1).

✉ AUSTRIA. Ed. . 1880 (Dec 7). 2 Kr. brown postal stationery card to SCHWANDORF cancelled by complete and fine framed REICHENBACH-EGER (Saxony) datestamp in black with arrival cds of the following day below. An unusual and seemingly accepted usage within Germany.

✉ AUSTRIA. 1881. Envelope to Rome, provenance unknown but from the Levant, franked Austrian 10kr. tied by boxed Piroscafi/Postali/ Italiani applied in transit at Ancona.

✉ AUSTRIA. 1881 (Nov 11). Cover to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil with three colour franking of 1874-77 2kr. yellow, 3kr. pale green and 5kr. red (3) all tied by Salzburg cds's. Reverse with Rio de Janeiro arrival (Dec 10). A remarkable franking to a very destination for this issue.

✉ LEVANTE: CORREO AUSTRIACO. Ed. . 1869 [April 8]. Entire letter to Triest franked by late usage of perf 9½ 1864 15s brown tied by two line dated SALONICH handstamp in blue. Repeated fine strike alongside and oval Triest arrival datestamp on reverse of fine and scarce entire. Scott 24.

Reverse with VARNA thimble cancellation, Giurgiu transit cds (Feb 18) and Bucharest arrival cds. A few faults but a RARE and most unusual usage, probably posted on board the Steamer.

Taxed on arrival with Italy Postage Due 1870 10c. and 60c. tied by GENOVA cds's (Dec 16) with corresponding "7" handstamp alongside.
