Cover franked by 1862 10c. bistre (scissors cut) tied by Paris Star in red with red cds (May 27) alongside. A delightful and rare item. Ceres 21.

Skinner, Seaman, HMS Victor Emanuel, Hong Kong, China" at top, countersigned at lower left by Commanding Officer and franked for concession with Great Britain 1d. red pl. 120 tied in black. Reverse with HONG KONG cds of despatch (May 7). Stains and faults. A rare cover.
