Entire letter from St.Petersburg sent by hand (possibly to the Company´s Office in London) and thence again outside the Mails to Boston where forwarded with blue oval ´Robt B Storer-Boston´ Forwarding Agent´s cachet. 3c adhesive applied and tied at Boston to New York. Rare usage and a fine cover.

On arrival at Grand Hotel in Paris, the wrapper was re-directed to FRANZENBAD, Austria with Type Sage 1886 25 c. black on lilac tied PARIS cds. Unusual combination. Scott 100.
