✉ NEPAL. 1937 (July). KATHMANDU. Registered local cover franked with a 16 pice stamp of the 1930 issue and an 8 pice stamp of the 1935 issue.

✉ NEPAL. 1938 (Jan). A cover addressed to the Prime Minister and Maharaja of Nepal Juddah Shamsher, at the SAWARI ROYAL CAMP. This mail was carried at the preferential 2 pice rate and the stamp was seal-cancelled.

✉ NEPAL. 1935 (Jan.). BIRGANJ to KATHMANDU. Double-weight cover franked with a block of four 2 pice brown. Envelope reduced at lef.

✉ NEPAL. (1937 CA.). TELEGRAM FORM with thirteen 2 pice brown and two 8 pice red stamps, on reverse of a makeshift telegram form with seal cancel.

✉ NEPAL. 1939 (Oct.). DHADING to KATHMANDU. Registered double-weight cover franked with a 24 pice plus two 2 pice stamps.

✉ NEPAL. 1942. Cover to KATHMANDU franked with 4 pice stamp cancelled with seal and pen. RARE.

✉ NEPAL. Mi. 47 (6). 1938 (June). JUMLA to DOTI via KARNALI. Registered cover franked with a block of six 4 pice green stamps, bearing the three postmarks of Western Nepal.

✉ NEPAL. Mi. 47 (7). 1941 (Nov.). SINDHULI to KATHMANDU. Registered cover addressed to the Maharaja, franked with seven 2 pice stamps. The only known cover with a manuscript cancellation of SINDHULI. Ex W. Hellrig.

✉ NEPAL. 1941 (June). CHAINPUR to KATHMANDU. Registered double-weight cover addressed to the Maharaja Juddah Shamsher, franked with seven 4 pice stamps.

✉ NEPAL. 1941 (Nov.). BIJAYAPUR to KATHMANDU. Triple-weight registered cover franked with eight 4 pice green stamps.

✉ NEPAL. 1938 (July). BAJHANG to JUMLA. Double-weight registered cover franked with 4 pice green and three 8 pice red stamps cancelled with the EXTREMELY RARE postmaster's seal of BAJHANG.

✉ NEPAL. (1940 CA.). Registered cover franked with 4 p. green and 25 p. orange, usual cover faults.

✉ NEPAL. 1941 (July). NINDHANG RANIBAS to KATHMANDU. Registered double-weight cover franked with a 4 pice green, a 8 pice red and a 16 pice violet stamps. The stamps bear a manuscript cancellation consisting of the initials of NINDHANG P.O., the date and the postmaster's signature. This is the only cover known with this cancellation.

✉ NEPAL. 1941 (April). SARLAHI to JALESWAR. Registered cover franked with a 8 pice red and a 16 pice violet stamps. The postmark of SARLAHI is hand-dated across the centre, due to loss or damage of the mechanical device.

✉ NEPAL. 1943 (Dec.). KATHMANDU. Double-weight local registered cover, franked with two 16 pice violet stamps. A RARE franking.

✉ NEPAL. 1944 (Jan.). KALAIYA to BIRGANJ. Registered cover franked with a 24 pice orange stamp.

✉ NEPAL. 1946 (August). KADARBAN to KATHMANDU. Registered cover franked with a 24 pice orange stamp, cancelled with the ornamental postal seal postmark of KADARBAN and was hand dated. Outstanding and VERY RARE cancellation.

✉ NEPAL. 1939 (Oct.). KATHMANDU. Local registered triple-weight cover franked with a 32 pice stamp. A VERY RARE stamp on cover.

✉ NEPAL. 1936 (May). Local registered cover from KATHMANDU, franked with a 32 pice and a 4 pice stamp. The 32 pice stamp is VERY RARE on cover.

✉ NEPAL. 1942 (May). CHANDRAGANJ to KATHMANDU. Registered cover franked with a 16 pice stamp of the 1935 issue and an 8 pice stamp of the local 1941/46 issue. The stamps are pen and seal cancelled.

✉ NEPAL. Mi. 49, 53 (2). 1953 (Dec.). MULPANI ti KATHMANDU. Registered cover franked with a 16 pice of the 1935 issue and two 4 pice of the local 1941/1946 issue. Cancelled with a box of MULPANI.

✉ NEPAL. Mi. 51, 53. 1955 (May). SALYAN to KATHMANDU. Registered cover franked with a 32 pice stamp of the 1935 issue and a 4 pice stamp of the local 1941/46 issue. A RARE franking.

✉ NEPAL. 1955 (July). KALAIYA to KATHMANDU. Registered cover franked with a 4 pice stamp of the 1935 issue and a 32 pice stamp of the local 1946 issue. A RARE franking.

✉ NEPAL. 1908 (Oct.). Nepal/India combination cover from SIRAHA, routed via JAINAGAR/DARBHANGA (India) to KATHMANDU. The Nepalese 4 pice stamp paid the postage from SIRAHA to JAINAGAR. There, the cover entered the British-Indian postal system, was registered and delivered to the British-Indian P.O. in Kathmandu. The by-pass through India could have been rendered necessary by temporary disruptions of the domestic postal route. Commercial India/Nepal combination covers are VERY RARE.

✉ NEPAL. 1921 (10 Jan.). A Nepal/India combination cover that passed from the native Post Office in Kathmandu to the Exchange Post Office, where the oval handstamp was applied. The cover was then handed to the British Indian P.O. where it was duly registered and forwarded to India. It arrived at HAZARIBAGH on 18.1.1921.

✉ NEPAL. 1924 (April). KATHMANDU to TRIESTE (Italy). Registered Nepal/India combination cover franked with nepalese 4 pice green, 8 pice red and 16 pice violet plus two Indian 2 annas orange. The Nepalese stamps were cancelled at the Exchange P.O. between the Nepalese and the British-Indian Post Offices. The cancellation of Shri Pashupati stamps with the oval KATMANDU handstamp is believed to be unique. The indian stamps paid the postage from the British-Indian P.O. in Nepal to destination. VERY RARE.

✉ NEPAL. 1929 (Nov.). Neal/India combination cover from DOTI, routed via JHULAGHAT (India) to KATHMANDU. The cover travelled across the border into India, then re-entered Nepal at BIRGANJ and was finally forwarded to the British-Indian P.O. in Kathmandu. RARE mixed franking India-Nepal.

✉ NEPAL. 1938 (Sept.). KATHMANDU to EDGWARE (England). The card was posted at the Nepalese Exchange P.O. of Kathmandu, from where it was forwarded to the nearby British-Indian P.O. The Nepalese 4 pice stamp was added to the 2 pice card to make up the special rate to the British-Indian P.O., while the Indian 2 annas represents the standard postage from the Bitish-Indian P.O. to Great Britain. A RARE Nepal/India combination card.
